Mansi:

totally agree with you about choo's agenda. the girl has never rubbed her belly lovingly like all first time moms do when they experience the baby's first movements.

I remember when I was pregnant, the movements were the funniest part. I used to poke the babies knees and feet in the last trimester because you can feel them so clearly. It is the most adorable time in a woman's pregancy. that is when the initial bonding begins.

then begin the talks with the baby whether in ones mind or out loud (when no one is looking). but from the sixth moment I remember the bonding beginning and then the nesting (the desire to make the nursery, knit booties. OMG I am getting all senti. why are they not showing this for Choo. I can understand not showing it for Manjusha (its her second one - she is busy with the first) but this is choo's first baby. she is a couple of days away from godhbharai. this is unnatural even the most hardened pregnant female criminals in prison express these emotions in english movie, hai na?

Sometimes she looks heavily prego like at varsha's weddinga nd thens ometimes she looks flat like when she was sitting at table yesterday and he gave her money. seriously if the CV's did not build in dialogues about her pregnancy I would just think she was an unruly teenager wanting to marry her uncle and seperate uncle from aunty.

Hi Arien:

Good to see you online.

BTW, read your post on other thread about fritters. i am so happy.

I have a wonderfully easy receipe for banana loaf. my son loves that too. it is quick fix you may want to try it out. I will PM you the recipe. he would come religiously from school and eat that for afternoon snack.

I am better with the baked stuff than the cooking.

😆 You're really funny Hope!
That's what I feel though too every time its a scene with the awkward trio (Manav-Archana-Shravani), especially when they're at home. She looks like their pregnant teenage daughter to me, but your interpretation makes equal sense, the unruly teenager who wants to separate uncle from aunty. 😆
I liked your comments about the Ashwin-Manav scene too, I may just have to watch that now.
I wonder why when it comes to the Shravani-and-divorce-issue everyone in this show is so... well, no other word occurs to me now except darpok. So many of them are all macho and tough in other issues, but all they can do with this situation is pray to Bappa. Seriously, GROW UP. Sit down and talk about it like adults. Only praying and looking rueful isn't gonna get anything done. Why are they all so scared of Shravani? She's pregnant, not a serial killer or underworld don or anything. Having nobody talking to her is just making it worse. Also, constantly telling Manav and Archana how great they are together isn't gonna do anything either. All three of them are adults (Manav = 29-31, Archana = 26-ish, Shravani = 24), someone needs to suck it up and lay down the law with all three of them. They all seem to have a somewhat escapist streak which is making them avoid the situation and its reality in one way or another, and they need a practical intervention before a divine one.
^ Same with the Varsha - Ashwin situation.
But then again, if that happened, what would they run the show off of? The writers don't seem to be very big fans of actual content and plot, so ridiculous twists, turns, and lies it is.

Thanks TB.

I totally agree with you. And I am sure every other one of our friends here do too.

Every situation Archu-Manav, Satish -Varsha etc can be resolved with open hearted conversation. that is becauase all these people are still sane and good at heart. resolution is possible but unfortunately not dramatic enough for our CV's.

Seriously the only relationship if you can call it that , has no hope of resolution and should really be severed like yesterday is the Vandu-Ajit coupling. boor babe she is suffering and her father says this is duniya ki reet adn the stupid idiot brother of hers does gives harsh angry looks but does nothing. I mean don't misunderstnad me I love the dude but seriously instead of inding excuses to talk to your wife in an uff so platonic manner, take your sister aside and slap her to her senses (like he did on the stage at the college function) and bring the girl home. shakkar philosophy be damned.

hai na?

@ Hope
They are not showing Choo bonding with the baby in her womb coz she is so preoccupied with Archana all the time and making her brain unnecessarily work hard , thinking about what Archana is upto and how is she hatching plans to take Manav from her. Only time she looks happy is when Manav does as much as acknowledge her presence, if Manav gives a smile to her she would do somersaults. She was so happy like a child when Manav gave her the money. Other times she is just sulking watching everyone being civil to Archu, she preferred Savita's rash behaviour towards Archana.
P.S. Enjoyed reading ur special comments, entertaining post.... keep it up

Arien:

Her lack of connection with her kid is surreal. you said you have a son right, you understand what I mean? Any mother would, seriously.

this is another one of the CV's manipulations to ruin her character. they do not want to show her bonding becasue then they would have to show Manav softening towards a glowing preggo. homely men find a glowing pregnant woman very endearing. specially asoftie like Manav.

Then Archu will be out of her league.

thanks I noticed you pressed the like button 😃

I would really like them to show her buying veggies or doing household stuff with the money Manav gave her (after varsha's reception epis are over - probably another week liek the wedding)

right now she looks like a kid who is over the moon at receiving her monthly allowance early from daddy.

Hey there Hope , interesting post ...few comments on your points..
* Yes, Manav and Archana hardly ever have a romantic moment now ...Last one was at Varsha's wedding , theflower petal scene where they both gave each other full close meaningful looks...
* Vaishali is lovely ...Jhumkas were nice . Urmila's earings were the worst ...👎🏼
* Archu looked gorgeous, tell me something new ....👍🏼
* Savita's acting was great in the gola scene...
* So your hubby is now talking like me .....sensible fellow he is 😆
