Why does everyone dislike her? I feel a little sorry for her. I mean she is in love with Manav. This all stems from the insecurity she is feeling.

She is pregnant with Manav's borhter's baby who is now dead. Can you imagine how she must be feeling.

First Manav accepts and promises to fulfill his duty, and so that's why Shravani accpeted this relationship. It's not like she was after Manav.

I do feel very bad for this character...... if anyone is to be blamed for this situation it is Manav and his mother and Archana.

Archana shold have taken legal action to prevent Manav from making a committment with another woman since they are still legally married.

I agree with you. Essentially she was nice and felt bad for coming between armaan. But sav aai put it in her head that archu is trying to get her husband back. But sharvanitakes it to another level. She can feel bad but she has to umderstand that manav and archu loves each other. She turned into a very dislikeable character

I don't think we are not blaming ArMan, they too are the cause of their own pain, however that doesn't excuse Shravani. She is acting blind, when she can clearly see that ArMan truly love each other and that Manav will never be able to love her in such a way. And why should one feel sorry for her, her being prego before marriage is her own mistake. She should know how to take care of it. Why throw the burden on someone else. She knows Manav very well, that he won't back out of his words, but does that mean that you shouldn't understand the situation and fix your own problems? As for her love being dead, well she didn't remorse on that for even a few days. The picture that is hanging in the living room is ignored by her, she rather pay more attention to Archu's each and every move. I don't think we would hate her as much if she wasn't so obsessive and rude to Archu, but she treats Archu like the other woman when she her self is the other woman. ArMan are two individuals that are ready to put their whole life on the line just to so that Shravani can live with respect and her child can have a name.......don't you think that Shravani should also give something back and let two people that love each other dearly to be together. She is spoiling her own life and their life. Manav is a great human being so he Shravani will still have some what of a happy life, but Archu and Manav they will die another death without each other every minute of their life. The point is that ArMan's desicion has not been excused, but Shravani's current choice and behavior is far worse.

No excuse for Sharvani's behaviour. Simply because:

1) Manav and Archana are very much in love. Even a blind bat can see that.

2) Presently Archana is the legal wife. Shravani is no one. No law recognises engagement of a legally married man.

3) Rather than spewing venom at Archana for everything, she should first analyse if she is right.

a) Should she burden Manav and Archana's fragile relationship with her mistake?

b) She is a modern, educated girl, well capable of fending for herself and a rich father. Why does she feel so helpless in raising her child all by herself?

very well said..........that is indeed correct........your educated and a father that loves her very much and lives over seas............why does she feel helpless??? or is she afraid of being a unmarried mother and doesn't want to face society??? Well she should have thought of all that when Sachin and her made their mistake.........why make someone else pay for that.........especially when you can clearly see that the person making the scarifice is only and only doing it for the well being of Sharvani and her child.......NOT because they want to..........

I understand your point.

I just don't understand why did Manav made a committment that he knows will be hard to fullfill.

This is the problem with this unrealisticly "mahan" people...they want to do good, but then they can't. They want to look good and make all the sacrifice, but then fall flat on their faces...

Sharvani also has done her bit for the family. she let them use her insurance money for vandu's dowry gifts.. if they think she is no one ( ie not legally related to manav and co ) then what right they had to use her money that too without even having the courtesy to inform her before using it.
and yet again manav used her father for helping archu's family and didnt even feel the need to inform shravani about it. any self respected girl will be offended. and as for savita aai she is all over archana now.. but there was a time that she encouraged sharvani/manav relationship because she was greedy for the gold shravani would bring. shravani was nice that time too to trust savita with her jewelry.
she was ready to raise her child on her own it was her father who put undue pressure on her by asking her to abort the child or get married. in such a fragile state with no support from any1 she did wat she thought was right at that time.

i really feel sorry for shravani and i dislike it when they show that archana being so mahan and that she doesnt have any feelings for manav.. i really want shravani to walk out of this commitment and throw their ( ArMan ) pity/sacrifice on their faces...this would make these 2 realize that they are not doing any one any favor by their maaahan acts...

The person she supposedly loved (Manav's brother) has not even been dead for long and she falls in love with someone else..... that just shouts faker to me... My sister married her high school sweetheart but unfortunately he was killed by a stupid drunk driver 5 years into their marriage....They had a 2 yr old kid and my sister, till this date hasn't married anyone else.

I used to feel sorry for Shravani and I understand she agreed to marry Manav because her father was trying to get her married to someone else. However, Shravani's love for Sachin quickly diminished and now all of a sudden she is madly in love with Manav. When is the last time she's mentioned Sachin or her love for him? These days it is all about Manav and how much she loves him, despite the fact she is pregnant with his brother's child and was set to marry him not too long ago! How can you fall out of love and in love with someone else that fast?
