@ Tanzi (if I may the first to smash the bubbly and christen you on IF !): I think there's a lot of scholarly stuff already out there on who's getting appeased. The why of course boils down to filthy lucre; there's an economic answer to almost every why in the universe.

And yes, I started out dispassionate and enjoining everyone within earshot to adopt attitudes of ironic / sardonic distance ( I think the ideal in my mind was Evelyn Waugh !), but you'll be surprised at how often television creative teams can get under the most sardonic person's skin.

Hello Tarantulla!

I'm sure you'll like it on this forum. The show isn't as good as it used to be, but the forum is doing better than ever. There are lots of interesting ideas and members, lovely short stories and FFs, and plenty of entertaining comments. This place is also active 24 hrs a day, as there are now a good amount members from both hemispheres.

@koolsadhu - guilty as charged. I started watching Zee TV with CB and stopped very quickly. It started out with a decent premise - from a psychologist's angle but of late I am told it is really bizarre. My friend insisted PR was different and I see its not too different already.

I do remember your posts there and agree(d) with you mostly. Based on your commentary thread, looks like there are actual nuances to discuss in PR vs the shock and awe in other serials - true?

unfortumately . the best part of PR ....the hook is over . It was very realistic , very normal .Currently its the over drama stage to keep the serial racing ahead . Still , we see it and the forum ROCKS. So stick on .

Welcome to the greatest forum Tarantulla,

Well regarding the show its on a down slide but with time i sure it will bounce back, it was going great guns!

Offlately the success of the show has got into the head of that evil lady Ekta and the CR's so there are hell bent in destroyine the show.

With some filthy tracks which is not digestable, well be someday they might wake up the the reality and realize what they have done to a tender love story!

Till then have a blast at the forum with lot of friendly and enthusiastic people at the forum!
