Yes Sid, I totally agree with Kool that you should make up to your daughter for all that poor thing had to go thr. Lucky you that your daughter sucked up to you.. She is a good kid.

My father never apologized to his children, but after he was over with his anger (and within himself would feel bad) he would take us out for a treat, usually ice cream.
