Brief Written updates of the Fortnight
15th February
-Manav tells Archana that it is best if they forget eachother and move on.
-Archana tells Manav that it is impossible for her to forget him.
-Savita Aai and Damodar ji celebrate their wedding anniversary.
-Sulochana Aai and Manohar ji decide to go to the Deshmukh's house to take part in the anniversary celebrations.
-Vandu asks Archana for forgiveness for thinking wrong of her.
-Archana goes to the chawl neighbors and ask them to come to the anniversary celebrations.
16th February
-Shravani dresses Aai for the celebrations.
-The party goes on in full dhamaka.
-Damodar ji leaves to catch a train to go for a show.
-Tarun, who is at the party gets a call that there has been a blast at the Mumbai station.
-Kaka realizes that Dam Baba was to take that train.
-Kaka, Tarun and Manav go out on a search for Baba.
-The Karanjkar's console Savita Aai and Vandu.
-Manav goes to the train station and finds Vinod, who tells him that the Damodar Baba was in the compartment that the blast happened in.
17th February
-Manav and Vinod go to the City Hospital to see if Damodar Baba is in the hospital.
-Archana sees how distraught Manav is, on TV, and decides to go be with him.
-Damaodar Baba is at the station, drunk and safe :D
-Damodar Baba finds out that a blast had just happened, and we find out that Damodar Baba never took the train. He was drunk and had fallen asleep on the platform.
-Damodar Baba decides to go home to his family and everyone is relieved.
-Manav gets a call from Vandu telling him that Baba is back home safe.
-ArMan hug in the joy of having Baba back.
18th February
-Archana tells Savita Aai that she had kept a mannat, that if Damodar Baba comes home safe, she would keep a Satyanarayan Pooja.
-Savita Aai tells Archana that they wont have any pooja.
-Satish and Varsha's sakharpura date is set.
-Varsha tells Satish that he needs to know about her past, but Satish tells her that he doesn't need to know it.
-Varsha also tells Satish about her concerns of her not getting along well with Bhavna Aai'Satish tells her not to worry.
-Savita Aai decides to have the Satyanarayan pooja and says that Manav and Shravani would sit in the pooja
19th February
-Vandu joins Damodar Baba's attempts in brining ArMan together.
-Shravani goes to collect Sachin's 7.5 lakhs insurance claim.
-Sulochana Aai and Manohar Baba go to the Deshmukh's to invite them to Varsha's sakharpura.
-Damodar Baba insists that ArMan sit in the pooja together since the moharat is running out.
22nd February
-ArMan do the Satyanarayan pooja, and Shravani comes back to see them do the pooja together.
-Savita Aai consoles Shravani and takes the 7.5 lakhs check from her.
-Manav tries to tell Shravani that, he and Archana had to do the pooja together, but Shravani is in no mood to listen.
-Archana goes home for Varsha's engagement.
-Archana reaches home and sees the Varsha is unhappy. She asks Vaishu what the problem is and Vaishu tells her that Varsha is not happy with this relationship.
23rd February
-Archana convincs Varsha that Satish is a good guy and she should be happy to be with him.
-Sulochana Aai goes to invite Rasika Aai to the engagemet. She meets Ajit and tells Rasika Aai not to bring Ajit to the engagement.
-Bhavna Aai goes to Rasika Aai and tells her to bring Ajit, because they are the ladke vale.
-Savita Aai tells Manav to take Shravani out.
-Manav tells Shravani that it is Varsha's engagement and he would like to be there for her that day.
-Shravani hesitates at first but later lets Manav go and puts her hand on Manav's hand. Archana who was in the opposite dukhan sees this.
24th February
-The Karanjkar's are all busy in preparations.
-Manav arrives at the Karanjkar house and helps out in the deceorations.
-Sulochana Aai and Manohar Baba get Manav a gift and asks Manav if he would fulfill all the duties of a behnovi at the Sakharpura.
-Savita Aai tells Vandu to go to the doctor's with Shravani since Manav is busy at the garage.
-Vandu tells Shravani that she would go with her. Shravani tells Vandu that Manav is not at the garage, but at Archana's house.
-Shravani tells Vandu that she's in love with Manav :O
-Varsha thanks Manav for coming to her engagement.
-Archana asks Manav if she could wear sindoor and her mangalsutra at the engagement as she didn't want people asking too many questions.
-Manav says that if this is a dikhava, then he wont say anything and agrees to her wearing sindoor and mangalsutra.
25th February
-Savita Aai agrees to go to Varsha's engagement.
-Archana and Vaishu get Varsha ready for the engagement.
-Vinod and the girls have a cute brother-sister moment :D.
-Rasika Aai comes to the engagement with Ajit.
-Satish and Manav hug eachother and Manav congratulates Satish on his engagement.
-Savita Aai and Damodar Baba are shocked to see Manav at the Karanjakar's.
-Everyone sees Ajit and are shocked.
26th February
-The sakharpura takes place.
-Ajit starts off on the wrong foot with Savita Aai and they both start fighting.
-Manav is irritated at Ajit's manner of talking and fights him.
-It's a chaos at the Karanjkar's place.
-Bhavna Aai tells Sulochana Aai to ask the Deshmukh's to say sorry or leave. Sulochana Aai tells Manav and his family to leave.
-Archana leaves to go to her sasural, because she would not have her husband and her in-laws being insulted.
-Savita Aai tells Archana that she can only stay at the Deshmukh's on one condition!

Dialogue Male and Female of the Fortnight

Varshu, ham theeno behne bohut bhagya shaali hain, hamari ayi ne hame aise sanskaar diye ki un sanskaaron ke bal par, ham kisi bhi chunauti ka saamna kar sakthe hain. Phir rishto ko jode rakhna tho ham ayi ke kokh se seekh ke aye na, phir tu kyun darti hain?- Archana
Personally, I love watching every scene in this show that involves the siblings, and this was just another one of those scenes that I instantly fell in love with. I chose not to analyze the scene too much, because I know it would lose its charm then --- so for its face value, this scene and dialogue was just brilliant. These were such gentle, emotional lines, and the reason it comes off so well is because it has this raw, unpolished feel to it -- its exactly the kind of words that would reassure my burdened heart :)

Aye HAYE!!! Aapke muh mein Ghee, shakkar!!! Goodness, Satish just grows on me even more by the day. Halanke, like all other characters in this show, Satish has also disappointed us at many times, you can't help but like the guy! For being the guy we all once hated, he has definitely made a niche for himself now. Here's to hoping that Satish's dua comes true for our ArMan ---Cheers!!!
Star Male and Female of the Fortnight

Star Actor and Actress of the Fortnight

Star Actress : This actress isn't a star for her wonderful expressions or excellent dialogue delivery, but rather for her lack thereof. As you may have guessed by that overwhelming clue, the "Star" Actress of the Fortnight goes to Pooja Pihal. Now there is no offense intended, this is to encourage improvement, as it really can't get worse. Termed the Churail and the Pyaasi Atma, Shravani's expressions have been laughable and dialogue delivery has been dismal. Pooja can certainly do better than these dead fish looks. Not a single scene, in her long stay on Pavitra Rishta, has stood out as striking or well done. It must be given to her though, she has made the character of Shravani all the more dislikeable to some, and is in that sense doing her job very well. By portraying Shravani as such a Pyaasi Atma, she has fulfilled her duties to her character as it seems to have been written as well as to the production house. What can make one a "Star" Actress more than that? She is a full on paisa vasooli for the producers and never fails to entertain us viewers in one way or another.
Star Actor: This award is going to a man who made quite an impact in just one scene, Pankaj Vishnu who portrays Ajit. Although the original Prabhat Bhattacharya was the image of the menacing Ajit, Pankaj has made his impact as well. The scene being spoken of is when he stares at Archana, who is standing in the kitchen, from the midst of the engagement party. The look had the proper essentials of vengeance, perversion, and even had an I-don't-give-a-****-as-to-what-others-think-of-me element. He looked right past Manav at Archana with a sick look that would drive any husband mad with fury. Aside from that scene, his scenes while instigating Savita and then fighting with Manav were also well done. With the Star Actor of the Fortnight title, the new Ajit, Pankaj Vishnu, is welcomed into the Pavitra Rishta family and we hope that he will continue to give us the best of tainted looks
ArMan Sequence of the Fortnight

For the past few fortnights, we have had no lack of ArMan scenes, and although they are not nearly as superb as we expect, it is good enough to keep us going! Although the ArMan hug last fortnight was pretty much a dream come true, and haila oh so amazing, another ArMan scene stood out for me. This scene just goes to show that no sindoor, no responsibility, no duty can separate Manav and Archana. The scene I am talking about is when Manav and Archana sit together and do the Satyanarayan pooja. Everything about that scene shouted the fact that this relationship was a blessing from God, proof that miracles do happen and also reaffirmed Damodar baba's faith that God had been listening to his prayers. This was such a lovely scene' it definitely had to be their best this past fortnight :)
Best Family Scene of the Fortnight

Well Finally!! we are getting to see some more family scenes .. first there were the cute anniversary scenes and then there was the Karanjkar/Deshmukh family scene where Sul aai/baba went to go and support Sav aai .... then there was the cute scene on the bed with the 3 sisters and aai and how Varshu/Vaishu were mocking aai for having such an old fashioned taste and lets not forget the Varshu/Manav scene .... but the best one for me will have to be when Vinod comes into the room and is just shocked at how grown up Varshu looks and then the 3 sisters and Vinod had a sentimental hug ... i just hope we get more of these scenes next fortnight !!!

Varsha the engagement girl, she was completely looking like a perfect bride where we saw her wearing bangles, earing, gajara and her minimum make up was making her look even more pretty and even her mehendi was good!!
Liked her blue dress which she wore before her engagement or the red saree which she wore for engagement or red saree which she wore, all was suiting her perfectly. In this even Vaishali looked pretty during engagement, the green saree or the yellow anarkali dress she wore was perfect.
But award goes to Varsha as she the reason of celebration and looked pretty.
Mr. Head Turner - Finally Manav got new shirts this week and he looked so handsome!!
Whether in the new green shirt which he wore during his parents anniversary celebration or the black shirt which he wore while he went out with Sharavani he was Prefect. He looked handsome in yellow kurta which he wore on engagement which was perfectly matching with Archu.
Satish our dulha was looking apart in his red color kurta during engagement, this guy is looking handsome day by day.
Again for second consecutive week award goes to Manav.
World of Archana and Manav

Hey guys :D I haven't written in a REALLY long time, so I admit, I am absolutely out of practice and this one shot is quite rusty :) But I thought I'd give it a shot! I hope you guys like it :D
A Bike Ride
At six o clock, the sun had disappeared and the sky was already violet. The only sounds on this lonely alley were of twigs snapping under their feet as two lovers walked, and a slight breeze rustling through the leaves on the trees. Far away in the distance, a loudspeaker threatened to murder the calm and peace that came with this evening. Despite the ruckus the speakers promised, Manav and Archana continued their quite evening walk.
Manav had promised to take Archana out on an evening walk as soon as he would find some free time, and Archana had willingly approved of the offer. As they walked silently, striding by each others' side, above them, the mood hovered clear and sharp. They were about 5 meters away from MG Road when Manav abruptly stopped in his track. Archana turned to look at Manav, and watched his hazel eyes sharp beneath dark eyebrows drawn together in a look of amusement. Archana watched as Manav pointed to a figure in the dark. She couldn't tell what it was that Manav was pointing out too, so she drew in a little closer, squinted her eyes, and took another look ' A BICYCLE!
"Manav, a cycle?" Archana asked with a mixture of amusement and excitement in her tone.
"Hm-huh," Manav replied as he looked into Archana's lovely amber eyes, naked of make-up, twinkling back at him. The soft light of the moon really played over her features.
Archana raised an eyebrow in anticipation. What exactly was Manav thinking?
"Manav, kya soch rahe ho tum," she asked.
"Ride pe le jao tumhe," Manav asked as he walked toward the lone bicycle that rested by a wall, his child-like amusement clearly showing on his face.
"RIDE PE? Manav, cycle pe? Woh bhi kisi aur ke? Pagal tho nahi ho gaye ho na? Ham pakde jayenge," Archana responded back, half excited and half frightened by the thought.
"Nahi na! Ham bas yun gaye, aur yun aye," Manav excitedly said as he mounted the cycle. "Aao na, bait jao!"
"Nahi Manav! This is too risky, ham sach main pakde jayenge," Archana whispered loudly, as if to make sure that no one would even get the idea that they were about to go on a ride on a stolen bicycle.
"Archana, trust me," Manav said in a deep, calm voice.
"Umm..," Archana thought for a while! The idea wasn't completely ridiculous! Besides the fact that they were running the risk of getting in a ton of trouble for stealing a cycle, and breaking a child's heart who might wake up in the middle of the night and not find his bicycle there, the idea was quite exciting. The adrenaline rush from doing something so innocently mischievous was quite exhilarating. After a few seconds of thought, Archana quickly ascended the cycle, and Manav took off quickly after.
Manav rode the cycle around the city limits, as the two of them made conversation and watched as people retrieved to their homes. They had been riding around the city for an hour or two when Archana suggested that they go back home. Manav turned his cycle in the opposite direction, but before they continued back home, he got off his bike and looked at Archana. He smiled and gestured to Archana to take the lead, and ride them back home. Manav had not forgotten how much Archana had loved riding her bicycle through the city limits as a child.
Archana raised an eyebrow for the second time this night and pointed a finger to her chest as if to ask, "Me?"
Manav nodded a yes, and Archana gladly took the lead. Manav had always been reserved, his feelings revealed only by small, unconscious gestures: this was one of many.
Archana positioned herself on the cycle and clutched the handlebar Manav had held, it felt slightly warmed by his touch. She rode their stolen bike back to the alley they had found it from. As the wind played with their hairs, they rode in silent admiration of this night: the silence was immense.
When they reached the alley they stole the cycle from, they dismounted the bike and Manav proceeded to put the cycle back in the same place they had found it. In the mean time, Archana kept a watchful eye for any uncle or aunty in the neighborhood who could catch them. When Manav was done, he grasped Archana's hand, and together, they RAN from their site of crime. The once silent night now echoed with their laughter.

Well well well ...so once again another fortnite has gone by and we are at the same position as we were at the end of the last fortnite .A few good Arman moments with the usual crap ...when one lead makes the right moves the other one really has to act like an as* or a jerk in the case of Manav .I really dont know what he is trying to do with both Shravani and Archana ...i seriously dont get it ...he harbors feelings for Archana which come to the fore time and again and as for his duty towards shravani ..is it really duty or more than that i dont know!!!
Shravani has fallen for Manav ...well say hello to the new lead vamp on the show !!!!As for the Ajit fiasco ...why dont they sort this act out once and for all and why did Satish's mom invite Ajit when she knows it all....and Sulochna supporting Ajit for what ...for trapping her own daughter in the brothel fiasco ??? I am glad Archana stood up for Manav n his family even if its too late in the day .....but Savita aai has more torture plans up her sleeve ..wonder what she is going to ask Archana to do ...definitely its not going to be something that leads to an Arman reunion !!!!!
My rating for the fortnite: 3.5/5 ( my ratings like the story are also getting repetative ...and i do hope that like PR's trps my review's trps also remain high!!! )
Expectations for next Fortnight

For our regular readers, if the set pattern continues, then this fortnight should be a dhamakedaar blast. The last fortnight, even if the "boring" one, had its share of lovely moments, from Archana and Manav having a tight embrace in the middle of the hospital to a fight between Ajit and Manav, but perhaps there will be even more action this fortnight.
On Tuesday the 2nd, going by the pre-cap and promo, we should see Archana and Manav coming close in their room, with Manav seemingly consoling Archana by holding her hand and stroking her arm softly while Archana is leaning into Manav with her head bent on her hands, which are tightly holding Manav's, and she is, as per usual, crying. In barges Shravani who drags out Archana quite forcefully only to be subsequently yelled at by Manav. Exactly how things progress is not known after this. If we are to go by the almighty Saas Bahu aur Something shows, then we will see Holi at the Deshmukh residence along with the Satish's-family residence (Firstly, do they have a last name? Secondly, the Satish's family part was taken from dialogue in the episode on March 1st.). If we are to believe the ever joking Sushant (Manav), then Vandita may be kidnapped from among the celebrations, in which Manav and Archana will appear rather upset until they quietly apply colour on each other, leading to a grin on Manav's face.
To find out the answers continue to watch Pavitra Rishta and, as usual, expect the unexpected.

What does a Pavitra Rishta mean to you?
Well for me its everything.. A Pavitra Rishta is not only with husband/wife but it applies for any n every person in ur life.. I love purity is any relationship.. Loving the person with pure heart is something I believe in... The purity of relationship is diminishing day by day but I think I m still orthodox in this n still believe in complete honesty n loyalty in any kind of relation...
What are your interests?
Well its electronics and Machines.. I love each n every form of electronics or machines.. Computer, Mobile Phones, car, TV.. etc.. I just love them all.. And apart from this I m very much into Food.. Though I cant cook but I just love food.. I love to try different cuisines.. I know thats a stupid interest buy hey its my interest
Who is your favorite character in the show and why?
My favorite character of the show is Manav.. Well not the current ruined one but the original Manav.. He is the guy I would fall for in one hour.. Perfect guy... Family oriented, Loyal, Keeps everyone happy, Simple n sober, Innocent n sweet... Its very difficult to find a guy like Manav in current time.. SO thats why my Fav character is Manav...
Why do you visit this forum and
how do you give your first impression to new or unknown members?
I visit the forum just to have fun n to read n share my views on episode or a particular topic... Well my 1st impression will be normal one.. If new member have posted some topic I would reply if i have something to say in if needs help i would help out.... Dont be over friendly but still be friendly enough...
How would you change the show to make it appealing to ALL audiences?
To start with I would really get Manav n Archana together not coz i want but coz it would be the best move.. I would like the show to focus that how a married couple get over all problems but still be together.. I would love to see that they promote the idea that Marriage is not only about adjustments n fights.. It about how u understand eachother n be with eachother no matter wat comes... I would throw all these bakwas separation twists out n get in the original concept of the show that is the strength of a Pavitra Rishta...I m sure this kind of concept is powerful enough to appeal to audiences...

How would you rate the forum from 1-10?
10 No doubt on that... The reason is coz the members are soo friendly n welcoming.. Also the Development team is perfect they dont interfere much n let everyone have fun... We have all kind of discussions some serious n some crazy ones... We also have some big debates but never a fight or ugly conversation.. Everyone respects others opinion n then give their own.. Its wonderful to be part of such forum....
What other shows do you watch and can they be compared to PR?
Well I dont see any other show on regular bases but the show Yeh Pyaar Na Hoga Kum is also a gr8 show.. I catch up a late repeat.. And about comparing it is also a love story but not as intense as PR, it is a soft love story... SO i wouldnt compare both as one is hard core intense drama n other is light hearted love story...
