Update:

• Minnie tells Babes that if she finds the shop a headache then she won't say anything to her. She'll do whatever she can with Naeem Bi and Kammo. She just hopes that by the time Babita comes to her senses, all is not lost.
• Minnie goes to Naeem Bi who is mending some old clothes. Naeem Bi asks Minnie if she fought with Babes over the shop. Minnie lets out her frustration. Babita isn't able to understand that the shop isn't just a shop, it's a lot more. It's a symbol of their independence and identity. They both had put in so much efforts to establish it. She thought that Babita was passionate towards it but today she dismissed it so easily.
• Naeem Bi explains how Babita has 17 years of experience and practice of being a housewife. It's her comfort zone and is simply looking to find her identity, happiness and comfort in it. She won't be able to let it go so easily.
• Minnie points out how Babita did become independent in between. Then why did she forget everything after her marriage? Naeem Bi tells her on one hand this marriage is a beautiful thing as it gave Babita HS. But on the other, it also gave her another opportunity to be a housewife. Because of her 17 years of experience, she knows how to be this really well and now that she has gotten another opportunity, she wants to go back to that life. She knows that because HS is earning, she doesn't need to worry about bringing in an income. Minnie points out how a job isn't merely there to make money. She thought that Babita actually enjoyed what she was doing. Naeem Bi tells her that the shop was borne out of a necessity not passion. They're both different things.
• Minnie asks what about Babita's identity? Her own value in life? Naeem Bi says that everything she struggled with were borne out of necessities not wants. She also tells Minnie to let things be since she's happy right now. Minnie counters that everything is fine right now but what if in the future it's not? What will she do then? Start from scratch all over again? Then what would she have learnt from all her hardships and mistakes?
• Naeem Bi tells Minnie not to put so much stress on herself and let some things be and just let them play out.
• Next morning, HS is doing push ups and makes Babita do some lunges. Lala arrives, pleased to see HS exercising without his help. HS, who hadn't noticed Lala arrive, continues with his encouragement. Lala, thinking that HS is speaking to him, starts exercising as well.
• Tired out, Babita stops and so does HS. Lala realizes that HS was making Babita exercise. Lala tells Babita that she doesn't need to listen to HS since she's not just the Malkin of the Haveli but HS too.
• Lala asks if Chachiji left and informs HS how she had told Lala to bring the form for the ration card. She had wanted Babita's name to be included. HS is about to fill it out but Lala stops him saying that he has horrible handwriting. HS hands the form over to Babita to fill out. She does so and hands it back to him.
• She tells him to get dressed while she gets breakfast ready.
• Mickey shows Minnie some colleges in Australia who are offering scholarships for photography course. Minnie tells him that she can't leave because Babes is in a delicate state right now and needs her. Mickey tells her that in the process of making our parents happy, we can't lose our own happiness. Minnie points out how Babes is going back into the same housewife mode that she had taken her out of. Mickey tells her to let her then. They all put so much effort into establishing the shop but if she can't see the value of it then what can anyone else do? Minnie has done everything that she could as well by getting her married and making her independent. There's nothing more that she could do. Besides, maybe Babes is the happiest in being HS' wife and taking care of Minnie. His own mom is like that. Minnie points out how that's not life, there are so many more aspects to it. Mickey tells her to then live her life. He's advising her as a friend to chase after her own dreams. Besides, ever since he has known Minnie, it's been riddled with problems. If she won't live for herself now, then when? If Babes doesn't want to fly, then at least don't stop yourself.
• Minnie thinks back to how a year ago, she had told Preet about her dream of wanting to fly far away from Patiala and see the whole world.
• Babita asks Saroj about her opinion on whether or not she did the right thing about not wanting to pursue her career. Saroj tells her not to worry about Minnie since she doesn't know anything, she's just a kid. The decision she made is absolutely correct. She's now married to HS who has a government job, is the owner of a huge Haveli and has no in-laws with whom she can get into fights with. It's just her and HS, they should live like royals. Just forget about Minnie as she can't live her life based on her moods.
• She goes on to say how because HS has taken Ashok's place in Minnie's life, the shop is just an excuse for Minnie to hide her pain. Babita retorts saying that Minnie has no attachment to Ashok. Saroj tells her that she's very naive. After all, blood calls out to blood. No matter what one says, Ashok is her dad. Babita argues saying that Minnie is her daughter. Saroj tries to laugh it off.
• Saroj asks Babita if Minnie will always stay with her. Babita starts panicking and asks her where else would she stay? She's her daughter, she'll obviously stay with her. Saroj tries defending herself saying she knows that she'll do anything for Minnie. But the truth is that she has her own home now and in the future HS and she will have their own kids. Amidst all this, Minnie is bound to feel bad. So why take the risk of letting such a situation arise? Babita cuts her off saying that nothing like this will happen. There will be no difference in their relationships just because she has gotten married. Minnie will only leave the Haveli when she gets married, not before that.
• Minnie is looking over the colleges Mickey showed her and after a lot of consideration, she submits her application.
• Precap: Babita tells Minnie that she can study whatever she wants, but she wants it to happen in Patiala so that she doesn't go away from her.
