Calindgirl; Mandira was Meghna's friend and coincidentally, also Avinash's boss.....after her divorce with her uncaring husband, Mandira took a liking to Avinash and made a bargain with Meghna - Money for her husband [Similar to the Anil Kapoor starrer Judaii].....At first Meghna slapped her and walked away but the money was to good to turn down and so she convinced the family and got Mandira and Avi married.....

The family moved in to Mandira's house who has made a place in everyone's heart as the perfect bahu and wife.....Meghna however started to become insecure and now there is a Mandira Vs. Meghna war raging on....

And Yes, Sangamitra killed her brother Shourya for power and property [I guess]
