This indeed seems like some plan to me.

Kunal is acting like so much unlike himself in front of AK.

Telling family and BB he knows what he is doing, talking to AK in same manner such people talk. Asking to stay in his house on his own and so guarded with Siddhi.

Even Siddhi is not happy with this case and appears sad that KC is not there.
