Heard of the Hurricane sandy being at its worst.

NJ, Atlantic City and other places I have been receiving twitter updates that the gust of hurricane sandy is really worst. Hope my beloved forum friends their families and relatives are safe.

Oh god I pray for all my beloved and those who are living in the respective risky areas stay safe with their families. Have mercy!!!


Though I don't know much of u guys who stay where n what I know most of u guys are pardesis I mean from US and Canada.

Hurricane Sandy has roared onto land, crossing into New Jersey as it lashes the entire tri-state region with blinding rain, storm surge flooding and furious winds that are tossing trees and debris, putting tens of thousands in the dark.

As the epic storm approached, a crane atop a skyscraper at 57th Street and Sixth Avenue in midtown Manhattan toppled over Monday afternoon. Police stopped traffic on nearby streets and evacuated buildings as the crane hung from the top of the 90-story high-rise. Downtown, FDNYreported a building collapse on Eighth Avenue.

Officials shut down mass transit and closed bridges and tunnels as winds picked up. Hundreds of thousands were ordered to evacuate low-lying areas, but many still remained when the waters began to swell Monday morning. By evening, officials said it was too late to get out of flood-prone areas.

Sandy had intensified as it churned toward the Jersey shore, hurtling toward the region with sustained winds of 90 mph.[B][/B]
