Article on Mahesh - Abhay!

Children seem to be a common thread across reality and fiction shows these days! From Parvarrish to Kyaa Hua Tera Vaada and Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, most of the shows have children as central characters in the plot.

Mahesh Shetty, who currently is seen in Parichay as Abhay, is one such actor who loves shooting with children. Mahesh reveals, "The kids are natural in front of the camera because they are not acting. They are playing themselves and having fun. Their energy level takes scenes to another level altogether and many times I am left surprised at how talented these kids are."

He continues, "While shooting, most of the time we are having fun and I tend to get along pretty well with kids, so it's not difficult shooing with them. They come with no baggage, no insecurities whatsoever… which is great." Ask him about whether he can spot the difference between the twins in the show and he ends by stating, "Initially it was a little difficult but now I have figured out who is who… so no tricks on me (laughs)."
