you know that 1hr is sufficient for me to get dark color(meri body type aisa hai)and never wash off your mehendi with water.just remove the mehendi with your hands n apply either lemon/coconut oil n you'll get bright color(with your mehendi incident,you reminded me of my best friend,she never used to get good color,she always used to crib abt my mehendi color😆)Actully i apply it on my fingers for just one hr..and after that i washed my hands with hot water many times..So now there is no dark color at all.i hope tomorrow there will be no color 😆😆
