about the show

Pardes Mein Mila Koi Apna is the story of Nirupama, a young girl who is forced to leave her draught stricken village in a desperate bid to save her father who is on the verge of insanity. With the singular motive of her father's well being in mind; a motherless Nirupama reaches Mumbai only to face rejection and ill-treatment from everyone, including her own elder sister who considers them to be a burden. However, destiny has other plans in store for her. Amidst all these adversities, Niru crosses paths with the soft & gentle Chandu and unwittingly falls in love with him. But soon they realize that their love is doomed as they belong to different cultures and their families are bitterly opposed to their union. The show boasts of popular stars such as Bhavna Khatri and Arjun Bijlani as the main leads.

This show is a slice of life story about a UP girl Nirupama, who falls in love with a Mumbai-boy Chandu. The plot revolves around how two people of various sections, cultures, backgrounds and socio-economic status fall in love and the problems they face and how they overcome them.

Will love blossom for Niru and Chandu? Will they be able to live their 'happily-ever-after' dream? Does life hold any more surprises in store for them? Will they be able to overcome the obstacles in their path? Can they find their way out of hatred and into love?

This show is their journey of love.

Arjun ki Zubani

My character name is Chandu, short for Chandrakant Bhosle who belongs to a middle class family. He is a well sorted guy, the good boy of the family who wants to prove himself and fulfill the dreams of the family. In the progress of time he meets Nirupama and falls in love with her in the very first sight. Problems arise because the areas where the lovers belong are rivals and the dwellers are not allowed to cross the territory. Hence the story revolves on how their love blossoms and surpasses the turmoil.

Bhavna is a very sweet girl and is three to four years younger to me. She is like a baby and she talks also like that too.

Nirupama, who belongs to a small village ravaged by drought, is forced to come to Mumbai to save her father who is bordering on insanity. Niru who is motherless had promised herself that she would forever be with her father- and never get married and leave him. Unaware of her destiny, she makes every effort to keep her promise and goes all out, even at the cost of sacrificing her own desires and needs. And when all hope in her life seems to fade away, she then meets a man of her dream Chandu and almost unwittingly, falls in love with him.

Chandu who is a soft romantic at heart- is the sole hope in his family. A good student, his father who is a constable has high hopes from him as his other son has dashed his aspirations for him. Chandu is a lovable sweet boy who meets Niru at a nightclub where they both perform and it is here that their love story blossoms.

At first Niru fights this love she feels for Chandu, as she does not want to break her promise. Finally when both accept their love for each other, they realize that their love is doomed as Niru's suitor from her basti Albela Suman (who is her sisters devar) and Chandu's brother Sarje are arch enemies.

@Haircut: I agree he needs to have short hair but not spikes! 😳 It wont suit him here.. Its a different thing that CV's show us a scene where Chandu tries to act up like City Rich Boys! 🤣 🤣 And we can have that spikes there then! 😆 😆
