Loved Raavi's mom's letter , how you have written the advices also mind that I would give same advices to my daughter as in the letter also the timing of letter was so on point when it needed the most because some times when you are in crises you don't need someone to sympathize with you rather someone who who give your right advice to accept the situation and how to move on and make things right and better for you because you want to come out from it and pass through it(Like you did with me some days back , you know what I am talking about right ?🤗)
Loved the Shiva's scene the most, him feeling bad for her not because she could not marry the love of her life at that point but she being so vulnerable and broken🥺.
"Agar Raavi maan gayi toh shaadi karunga " won my heart ❤️
This the Shiva he was the one who is short tempered but still cares for genuine people's feelings and consent.
Loved Raavi's take on things here though she is sad, heart broken betrayed but still she is not taking any decision in haste also though making a compromise for her family's respect but still not compromising on her self respect when she said she has a condition before agreeing to the marriage like I say however good or bad, kind or cruel , successful or unsuccessful , rich or poor intelligent or fool a person is that doesn't make that person to be your life partner.
I am eagerly waiting for next part and to know what Raavi's condition is .But I hope she talks once to Shiva before agreeing to marriage and discuss what does this marriage and "them" it means to them respectively.
Choti🤗! I was thinking of exactly that when I wrote that letter! What advice my Mum would give me, actually... And yes, sometimes you don't need sympathy, but know what to do to move forward because other wise too much time will pass you by! And of course I remember what you're talking about... 😳
Yes, I feel like Shiva always felt that Raavi's feelings for Dev were childish feelings that were exaggerated by her because of the encouragement she received. Other wise wouldn't he have hesitated, held himself back from falling for her? Wouldn't we have seen that line of thought somewhere? Even the OG doesn't have it....
And yes! To Shiva, Raavi's consent should've been a very important thing! Would've been so if it wasn't for extensive Bhabhi Bhakthi, which I have no intention of glorifying!
About talking to Shiva, you'll see in the next chapter's Author's Note why, or why not.... 😆
PS Did you see the long ass Author's Note I made at the end of this chapter? Batao na? If you think I should continue with it or not?

Okay so somehow I hadn't read this and let me just say, I love this AU where ShiVi will find themselves beyond the confines of marriage!
This was a beautiful part, Sathya, brb running to read the second❤️
Megs🤗! Glad you loved it! I'm really looking forward to write this one, really. Because all the fukcing potential this couple has!!!! Haina? Even if I only dip my foot in it, I'd like to see how it turns out! So far, response has been pretty overwhelming, though... 😆

I'm here!
And I'm really liking the details of emotions on both ends for this part of story! There's something seren about reading well written stories, so thank you❤️
And also, don't take 293030 years to update because I'm enjoying the updates
I'm just going to take a moment to be happy! Because that's exactly how you're comment made me feel...
Also, the 293030 years mistake will not be repeated! Although it might take 2 weeks? Mostly because I've been running around trying to get record work completed so that I can study in peace for Uni in March. Really short on time, right now, and I'm not sure how I'm going to handle everything, really. 😒🤪

Shivi's marriage track is the closest to my heart.no other track could come close to it in terms of emotions and depth.
I loved how you explored it and dived deeper into shiva and raavi's feelings. The way you write emotions is heart touching.
I am so glad you decided to rewrite shivi's story. Waiting for the next
Pixie🤗! If this is your favorite track, then this is probably the moment to tell you that there's atleast 2 more chapters dealing with it before things move forward... 😳
PS Is MBBS always so tiring? 😭🥺

An emotional one.
I'd start off with the letter, it was an unexpectedly beautiful surprise. Something too precious without even getting to the hands of our heroine or hero for that fact. Its just there. In the beginning, with content that comes right through the heart and reaches to a reader's soul. Ngl the 'Teri Shaadi ke din tho ye saari baatein btani hi hongi tujhe tho abhi kya likhun dubara?' hit me hard. She thought she had the time, she'd be with her and now she is just simply gone. The last couple of lines also broke my heart. They didn't knew they weren't going to come back and be with their daughter again ever. It is painful.
I LOVED how to panned the the scene immediately to Shiva instead of Raavi. Hear me out : When you read the letter you feel the recipient would be shown next but no, the Sathya I know does things differently and that is why she knows how much I absolutely adore her. THIS, this cinematic excellence is the reason we pester her all the wayyyy.
I am loving this Raavi. She stood up for herself in front of Dhara like a boss. No matter the hurt and swamp of agony she was in. She stood her ground and stated point blank that you have mere 30 minutes to try anything and by that I mean I won't marry your Dev beta no matter what you do. You have no business taking me for granted. She hasn't read the letter yet but she's here doing what her Mona wanted her to do, in life.
Liked how Mausa Paa tried convincing her in the end. But she STILL has something for us...I cannot wait for the 'Shart' you've GOT TO keep updating this sooner woman. Aise ek ek mahine mein karegi tho mera kyaaaaa hoyegggaaa Behnaaa? 🤡
Update soonish Bubzooo.
We love you.
First off! We love you tooooooooo🤗!!!!!!!
The letter! It's what I was struggling with, you know? When I was talking to you and Vaish about it? Because I wanted to hit a dialect that conveyed a bit of Raavi's crazy vocabulary, but something that also sounded very sensible.... Not sure how much I succeeded at it though! The pain was a very true thing. Such a happy woman, 10 days after receiving one of the biggest joys in her life, just DIES. No waiting for it, no expectation of it except perhaps some kind of gut feeling. Perhaps not even that. Probably worried about her baby and feeding times and did she sleep, and diapers and burping without gripe water.
LOL, your love of my sequencing really, really gets to me, you know😆? Because I had the letter written and kept aside before I wrote Shiva and Raavi's parts, and I wanted the letter to come after her conversation with Dhara. But that felt like it would spoil the suspense, so I decided to insert it after Dhara proposes the wedding, in front of Suman.
Then 10 seconds before posting, I still hadn't inserted the letter, and it just didn't feel RIGHT there, so I put it at the start. 😉
Raavi in this fic is going to be the middle sister of my Goldilocks hypothesis. Between Dhara's giving in, caring nature, and Rishita's strong, selfish nature.
I think there's going to be mixed feelings for the shart maybe. I'M still having mixed feelings about it, personally.... So we'll see, I suppose. And you know why the updates aren't coming sooner, Ritu🤪! Although I promise not to take THIS much time between updates again.... 😆
PS Did you read the huge ass Author's Note at the end of the chapter? Do you think I should continue with it?
Sathya, love this update! ❤️ Though it was emotional was nice to read to both Raavi and Shiva’s POV. The details you go into to explain their thought process is indeed commendable. The letter from Raavi’s Mom, what a refreshing thought and she needed that to make her own decision. I am so looking forward to reading Raavi’s condition. It is going to be interesting as I don’t want Raavi to face things that she doesn’t deserve. This whole thing was not her fault.
Akka🤗! I'm glad you don't feel like the details aren't making it tiring, especially because it's a retelling fic. The letter was meant to be an anchor, especially because unlike in the OG where Mullai's parents are actually very supportive, Raavi here has practically no one except Mausa Pa (and he's gaayab max pro).
I think you might like the thought behind the shart, Akka, but I'm curious to know what you think of the actual shart...🤔 And I agree completely that none of it was Raavi's mistake at all.
