Here I am with another story on the current track…I hope it gives a closure to viewers like me who want some meaningful scenes/ confrontation between them…
(As I am not taking classes right now because of board exams, I have written a lot of stories 😆)
It is based on the current track after Raavi blurts out “the secret” in front of everyone…

I WANT TO TRUST YOU
When Shiva told Raavi about why Gautam and Dhara did not opt for having a biological child in the early days of their marriage, he took a promise from her that she will not share it with anyone.
Raavi tried her best to stay true to her words but seeing how the family members were not considerate enough towards Dhara, she blurted it out in front of everyone. Shiva intervened, tried to stop her but to no avail. She simply said “Everyone should know what Dhara di has done for you all.”
Though Shiva was happy that Raavi and him were on the same page when it comes to supporting Dhara but he felt betrayed. “She could not even keep this a secret for more than a day. How our relationship will see the light of the day if I cannot trust her.” Shiva was feeling a sudden urge to throw questions at Raavi for not keeping her promise, for not keeping their secret.
Just then Raavi entered the room, Shiva closed the door of the wardrobe and decided to not to talk about the happenings of the day with her. He just did not want to fight with her.
“Shiva, I know you are upset with me.”
“Raavi, I do not want to talk about it. It was a long day, I just want to sleep.” Shiva said while lying down on the bed.
“Shiva, your anger is totally justified. You showed faith in me by sharing such a big part of your life with me and I couldn’t even keep my word of keeping it between us. I am really sorry. I felt everyone should have an idea about Dhara di’s sacrifices, what she has done for our family. I just thought…” Just then, Shiva interrupted her and stood up from the bed.
“Everybody knows about her sacrifices. There was no need for you to remind everyone. Plus, it was not our secret to tell.”
“Shiva, we are on the same page when it comes to this family.”
“Family!!! Yeah…do you know who else is a part of this?” Shiva scoffed and stopped talking.
Raavi simply looked at him. She has seen him angry many times, today was no different but there was a pain in his anger; pain that Raavi has given by breaking his trust. At that moment, she wished she could take it back.
“You.” Raavi said.
Shiva looked at her but did not say anything.
“I wish I could undo what I did outside. I know you are hurt and upset and it is something that is difficult for me to see.” Raavi said in between her tears.
“You can’t change what has already happened but promise me that you won’t do it again.” Shiva said.
Raavi nodded and said sorry by holding her ear with one of her hands and held his hand with her free one.
“I just wish you will open up to me. I will become worthy of being your secret keeper one day.” Raavi said.
“You are.” Shiva gave her a smile.
“Seriously, Shiva?” She questioned him.
“Yeah. We will get there, slowly, at our own pace because we have a lot of secrets to share.” Shiva took a brief pause and then continued,“I will start by sharing another one tonight.”
“Which secret?” She asked.
“Stay. Stay here. With me. With this family. Forever.” Shiva said, taking pause in between words.
Raavi smiled a little. “Where is the secret in this?” She asked, totally confused.
“The secret is that I like…umm…I like this.” He said gesturing with his hands between them. He looked at Raavi and realised that she is confused. He continued to make it clear to her. “See, no listen, I like what we have. You being you and me being me with each other. I don’t think I would want anyone else as my partner, partner as in my wife.” He looked at Raavi who was simply astonished hearing these words coming out of his mouth.
“Do you mean what you are saying?” She asked a very nervous Shiva.
“Obviously, that is why I am saying all this. You are important to me. You make me better. I like myself a little more when I am with you. I like the idea of us being together.” Shiva said and turned his back towards Raavi out of sheer nervousness.
Raavi smiled but did not say anything, she simply hugged the sleepy Shiva and slept off while holding him.
