He he... As I said it, ENJOY😆!!!!! In TN only Saraswati puja and Vijayadasami are really celebrated, and that too mostly just at home with family or in offices, so we never have huge holidays for Navratri.... We have a Golu at home though, so I'm planning on going home next weekend, 4 days feels like a vacation in the making right now, I swear....
So I finally gathered enough brain cells and completed this chapter..it’s the second last one and because it got tooo long I’ll post it in two parts! One today and one tmrw (because I still need to edit the later one 😛)

CHAPTER 4 A
Just as Shiva reaches Dehradun his heart starts pumping blood so fast that he can actually feel the pulsation in his temples.
Dehradun did not look good. One his way he could see many mimi landslides and traffic police struggling to mange two way traffic on single road because many roads were damaged. Mami has told him that Raavi had gone to some hill station by name Raamgarh for tracking which was 10 kms away from Dehradun. He quickly turns his car on the street leading to Ramgarh.
But all the ways to Ramgargh are blocked by police because whether forecasting said that it might rain again thus there are chances of more landslides. Everyone tells him to either wait for 3-4 days in Dehradun and then go to Ramgargh but Shiva has always been the stubborn one! Especially when it comes to Raavi. There is no way he is going to wait even even a second before meeting her! No force of nature can stop him now. So he eventually find a way to Ramgargh which is very dangerous abd through dense forest and used mostly by criminals and smugglers.
‘Ye mami ki bahen ki beti ke liye kya karna padta hai. Kyu jana tha us chipkali ko barish me tracking par? Bina dimag ke paida hui hai na is liye! Ab ek baar mil jaye..aise khair lunga uski hi zindagi bhar yaad rakhegi,’
Shiva makes a mental note of taking class of this mami ki bahen ki beti once he meets her while driving through the jungle. Eventually he sees the sign reading Ramgargh and finally let’s out a deep sigh.
But to his surprise Ramgargh is nit as small of a town as he expected. It had countless resorts, houses and cafes.
‘Ye Ramgarh to pahuch Gaya but is chipkali ko kahan dhundhi?’
He was going from hotel to another asking about Raavi and running around like a crazy person on loose when he hears a very familiar voice.
“Agar Shiva yahan hota na to pakka kuch na kuch karta mujhe ghar le jane ke liye,”
He turns around to see Raavi sitting on a bench near a food stall.
All his frustration disappears. His chipkali is safe and ok. His heart gets swells with joy and relief.
But then he notices a boy, there age sitting next to Raavi, holding her hands.
It just doesn’t settle good with him. He storms to the food stall.

“Karan!!! Mujhe lag tha haina ki ab kuch nahi ho sakta. Do din se yahi fase hai hum. Mujhe lagne laga hua me na yahi mar jaungi aur fir in haseen wadiyon me meri jaise khubsurat ladki ki aatma sadiyo tak bhatakti rahegi,” Raavi whines loudly into Karans’s sweatshirt making his eardrum cry for mercy.
“Ye Raavi..kya bakwaas kar rahi hai? Kuch nahi hoga tujhe..rehne ke liye hotel hai, aur teeno time thoos kar khana bhi kha rahi hai. Abhi 3-4 din me road khul jayegi aur hum ja payenge. Ar ye falatu me meri sweat shirt par rona band kar..ek hi kapda bacha hai mere pass,” Karan pushes Raavi away and gives her- ‘don’t even try your drama with me look’. She was literally enjoying and shamelessly moaning loudly while she inhaled 7 momos and said that she would definitely bring Krish here so that she can try them as well.
Karan starts inspecting his white brandedsweat shirt which his US wale mama brought. Ain’t no girl crying and ruining his most favourite sweatshirt, even if they are in mild crisis. But to his surprise his sweatshirt was as dry as Raavi’s face.
This dobi was crying but didn’t shed even single tear!!
“Kitani badi wali hai tu Raavi! …ek aansu nahi nikala hai tera aur kahene ko chilla chilla kar ro rahi thi!” Karan scowls at Raavi who puts in her defence.
“Haan to aansu nahi aa rahe matlab bura nahi lag tha kya? Wo dehydration ke wajah se aansu nahi aa rahe honge. Lekin mujhe sach me bura lag raha hai Karan! What if I don’t see my Mausima again? Or don’t get to eat Dhara bhabhi’s food for one last time? Or fight with my bhootnaath-“
“Raavi?”
Raavi’s head whip towards the source of the voice at an unreal speed. Karan swear she was just a single degree away from snapping her neck.
“S-Shiva?” Raavi’s jaw fall to the ground. Is it really what she is seeing? Shiva standing in front of her? In flesh and blood? Or is she just high on some random pahadi weed that ate by mistake because those momos sure tasted too good to be true.
Feeling unsure she looks back at Karan for confirmation that she isn’t day dreaming, Karan himself looked like he had just seen his parents making out but eventually nods at Raavi confirming that they both can really see Shiva.
Raavi immediately get up and throw herself at Shiva, wrapping her arms tightly around his torso, snuggling her face deep into her classic check shirt, inhaling his class cinnamon and pine smell. It’s Raavi’s drug..how did she even manage to stay away from his for 8 months??
“Aye chipkali to theek to hai na?” Shiva asks, returning the hug, snaking his arms around her thin waist to which Raavi replied by nodding because she is feeling too overwhelmed to say anything.
All the tension that he is was carrying on his shoulder from last 24 hours has finally melted away. Now that he has her in his arms..he decided he will never let her go, even if she wanted too.
“I mean mujhe ye Karan Johar movie style wala reunion dekhne me koi problem nahi hai but ye town ke log sab tum dono to ghoor rahe hai,” Karan mutters slowly.
Raavi immediately breaks the hug making Shiva miss the close contact they had and starts blushing like a tomato. She pushes a strand of hair behind her ear and looks around awkwardly.
‘Chachundar kahin ka! 2 minutes chup nahi reh sakta tha? Theek se meri chipkali to hug bhi nahi karne diya. Abhi jab khud usse chipak raha tha to koi nahi dekh rha tha’
It has not even been 5 minutes since Shiva had met this boy and he already wanted to throw him off some random cliff.
“Shiva tu yahan kaise aya? Saare roads to block ho chuke the na?” Raavi asks her eyebrows furrowing and eyes holding so much worry just like 8 months ago Raavi used to be when Shiva would tell her some insignificant injury he got in the store
“Bas dhoondh liya Rasta tujh tak- I mean Ramgargh tak,” Shiva says biting his tongue for the slip of tongue. There is just something about mountains..makes you loose control.
Raavi’s eyes starts watering for real this time.
“Shiva me bahut dar gayi thi pata hai?”
Second hardest things for Shiva is to listen to krish sing but first hardest has and will always be to watch Raavi cry.
It breaks his heart like nothing else.
“Ab ye rona shuru mat kar dena.” He says, bringing his hands to her cheeks, his huge hands cupping her red puffy face as the pad of his thumbs wipes away her tears.
“Chal ab. Suraj doobne se pahle wapa Dehradun pahunchna hoga nahi to kal subha tak yahi case reh jayenge. Chal le aa apne samaan. Me yahi wait kat raha hu,” Shiva said, pulling back and taking seat on one of the wooden benches, cuing Raavi to get her stuff.
“Me bhi fata fat apna samaan ke ata hu!” Karan says with absolutely glee and is about to run to their hotel to get his bag when Shiva stops him.
“O hello! Kidhar? Me yahaan sirf Raavi ke liye aya hu koi Shiva transport service nahi khol rakha hai ki yahaan ke saare logo ko Dehradun transport karu,” Shiva rolls his eyes. He literally rather die then take this chachundar with him. He won’t be able to see him sticking to chipkali on the backseat of his car while he drove. The throat alone is making his head explode!
Karan pouts.
“Shiva Karan mera dost hai, use me yahan akele kaise chod kar chali jau?” Raavi says as she looks at Shiva with puppy eyes but Shiva is just not having it.
“Tujhe itani fikar hai na iski to iske saath yahi ruk fir. Me chala vapas,” though obviously Shiva Pandya would never leave his chipkali behind but he turns backs just to add that little drama hoping that she will agree to leaving the chachundar behind.
But Raavi grabs his hand and pulls him back.
“Shiva me karan ko yahan chod kar kaise ja sakti hu? Pata hai me tracking karne time Kho gayi thi aur sab mujhe chod kar chale gaye the. Bas Karan aya tha wapas mujhe dhondhne. Agar wo nahi hota to abhi tak mujhe kisi jungle bhalu ne apna dinner bana liya hota.” It is almost like Raavi knew exactly what to do to or say to convince Shiva, she slowly starts rubbing circles on his palm and keeps muttering please please please like a broken record player.
Shiva wants to slap himself for being such a snowflake and get convinced so easily by this chipkali!
She only held his hand with so much authority and gave him one looks and Shiva is even ready to give her his life.
Urghh! I have got it reallll bad!
“Ok fine whatever. Both of you bring your stuff in 5 minutes. Jisne bhi usse ek bhi minute zayad liya, use yahi chodkar chala jaunga,” Shiva says in an unimpressed voice.
Overwhelmed with happiness and excitement, Karan and Raavi run towards eachother with open arms to give a ‘finally we are saved!’ Hug but Shiva pulls Raavi back by the cap of her hoodie, making her choke for a millisecond.
“In sabka time nahi mere pass! Ja jaldi apna sama leka aa,” Shiva growls and both Karan and Raavi runs back to their hotel to get there bags.

They all reach Shiva’s red i20 and Karan jumps into the back seat and before Shiva could even tell her to sit in the front she also sits in the back seat, both of them giggling at something.
‘Lo pahle se hi kud kar baith gayi us chachundar ke saath. Ab raste bhar chipakte rahenge dono’
Shiva starts driving through a very narrow road going downhill in a awfully foul mood. He hears Raavi and Karan laugh at something and despite of not wanting to look at the rear view mirror, he looks.
Raavi is engulfed in Karan’s arms and he is whispering something in her ears making her laugh and if that didn’t make him furious enough, their faces starts coming closer and Shiva looses both his shit and control over the car and the cars spirals down the mountains with Raavi yelling-
“SHIVAAA!!,”
“Shiva! Kidhar Kho gya,”
Shiva suddenly notices he is not falling from the mountain but still standing near the car and Raavi is also not kissing Karan but standing in front of him.
It was just a dream! No scratch that! A nightmare..
“K-Kuch nahi. Tu chal baith jaldi se,” he says, still sweating.
Karan is sitting at the back and before Raavi can even think about sitting at the back seat he grabs her hand and takes her to the front passages seat shoves her in.
“Tum dono kya chahte ho ki tum piche baitho taaki me tum dono ka personal driver lagu. Kabhi nahi! Tu yahan age baithe gi,” Shiva says in a little sour mood which Raavi couldn’t understand why.
Sometimes this bhootnath has mood swings worse than pregnant ladies in Indian serials!’
She rolls her eyes.

The drive to Dehradun is fairly uneventful and by the time they reach Dehradun it has become 9 by the time they reached, they decide to stay the night at some hotel. So Shiva pulls into the first decent hotel he sees.
They ask for three room but only two rooms are available and because all three them are too tired to even look for another hotel they decide to take those two room and adjust.
It’s decided that Raavi will stay in one room and Shiva and Karan will share a room.
Raavi goes to her room and Shiva unwillingly join Karan to their.
‘Sirf ek raat ki baat hai Shiva, kaat le is chachundar ke saath’
In there room Shiva first goes to the washroom to freshen up and when he comes back he finds Karan moving too and fro from one side of the bed like a pendulum. It is weird true but shiva decides not to do anything about it. He moves to bed to pick up the AC remote but get scared as hell when Karan jumps all of sudden and stands on his toes, his hands flexed in typical Chinese movie kugfu style.
‘Ye chipkali ke saare dost usi ki tarah pagal hai kya?’
“Dekho mujhe na thoda bahut kungfu ata hai to agar tumne mujhe neend me marne ki koshish ki na to me tumhari halat ke zimmedar nahi honga. Haan tumhare dole shole mere se dugne bade hai par me bina lade nahi marunga!” Karan says mustering up all his confidence.
But everything is going over Shiva’s head.
‘What the hell is he even talking about?’
“Kya bakwass kar rahe ho? Me tumhe kyu marunga?” Shiva asks, scowling at Karan who was still in his kungfu fighting mode.
“Subha se dekh raha hu ki tum mujhe death glares de rahe ho bina baat ke. Plus tum upar se no talk only action type guy maloom hote ho. Tabhi keh raha hu..2-4 punch to maar hi dunga,” Karan says.
Shiva’s eye widen a little bit at realising how transparent his expressions has been the whole day.
“Dekho aisa kuch nahi hai. Me tumhe koi marne warne nahi hu. Me to bas-“
“Thoda jealous tha. I know,” Karan’s composure had relaxed now and is smirking and wiggling his eyebrows at Shiva.
“N-nahi aisa kuch nahi hai!” Shiva tries to dismiss Karan angrily.
“Arre gussa kyu ho rahe ho? Pata tumhari aur Raavi ki yahi problem hai! Na hi apni feelings ek dusre ko batate ho aur nahi theek se chupa pate ho,” Karan says with a chuckle.
“Raavi ki feelings? Matlab?” Suddenly at the cells in Shiva’s body when to hyper alert mode.
Raavi meri liye kuch feel karti hai? Sach me?
“Argh don’t tell me you had no idea. Mujhe to lagta hai out if you two atleast you’ll be the smarter one! Par tum hi uske tarah idiot hi ho!” Karan dramatically rolls his eyes.
Shiva can’t believe what he is hearing!
Mami ki bahen ki beti has feelings for him? And here he was thinking from past 8 months that he lost whatever chance he had with her!
His heart starts jumping in his chest almost begging to break free of the rib cage.
He wants to jumps and dance and yell on the top of his lungs that- Raavi! Me bhi tumhe pasand karta hu! Bachpan se!
But then he comes back to his senses. No no no! He needs to be sure before celebrating!
“Par tumhe ye sab kaise pata?” Shiva asks sceptically.
“Kyuki a) me antaryaami hu! Aur b) Raavi khud gaati rehti hai pura din and I know ki mujhe tum dono ke beech aise nahi ana chahiye but yaar tum dono ek dum dobi aur hopeless ho! Aur 4-5 saal tak bina ek dusre ko bataye aise hi ek dusre ke pyaar me rote rahoge,” Karan says with an massive eyeroll.
So it is true then! Mami ki behen ki beti really really liked him! Now all shiva wants to do is run to her and tell her he likes her too and kiss her senseless.
What if he screws up the confession? What if she rejects him? He will loose both his love and their friendship..
“Ruko ruko ruko! Bhai itna bhi overthink nahi karna hai! Jao aur apni paro ki apni dil ki baat bata do,” Karan smirks at Shiva.
“But what she rejects me? I mean it has been so long since we have met in person and-“
Karan scoffs.
“Wo Raavi hai! Ek pal ko RCB ipl jeet jaye par Raavi kabhi tumhe na nahi bolegi! Ab jaooo!!” Karan literally pushes Shiva out of the door.
Shiva stops for a while turns back and sighs loudly.
“Waise tum jitna me soch raha tha utane bade wale chachundar nahi ho Karan,” he says with a smile and sprints towards Raavi’s room before Karan could react.
Hehe I really like Karan and Shiva duo for some reason 😂😂
