I don't understand what the CVs want or are trying to prove. I mean, I know this track is about Shiva's insecurity but is blatant, atrocious disrespect and disregard for a person's feelings the only way they can go about it?
Is it a direct adaptation from the OG version? Or is it the CVs method of extracting maximum drama for TRPs? I am actually curious.
I mean, I understand that as Raavi's friend, she (the girl in the precap) is genuinely concerned for her well-being but isn't there a more subtle way to go about it? I am sure most 10 year-olds I know have more subtlety and compassion than that girl, lol.
Or does she think that just because he wears clothes he is comfortable in, she won't hurt his feelings when she insults him? Is this the norm of ITV or are the CVs trying to send a message about the people in India?
I know Rishita does the same thing but I also know that she is rich and spoiled and like Gaumbi said, uski zubaan mein wahi hota hai jo uski dil mein hai. But that doesn't mean everyone has to be that way, right? Or am I the dumb one, for trying to find logic in an ITV show?
Does she think she has the right to express out loud whatever comes to her mind because it was one of the things she and Raavi used to do when they were younger?
Someone please explain......
From my experience, sometimes shows and stage plays need to exaggerate scenes in order to move a plotline. Books don't need this as the author can convey thoughts through writing; however, when character dialogues are the primary way the audience can receive information, movies/plays dramatize scenes by having characters "shout" dialogues in the middle of the road. Instead of have the friend "shout," they could've tastefully done the scene by Shiva accidentally overhearing the friend when he comes back to get Raavi. So I agree with you on that point!
As for blatant, atrocious disrespect/disregard, I've seen so much bullying (direct and indirect) that this track is very realistic (at least personally). Though everyone on the forum loves Shiva, and it helps that KD is an attractive man, we really need to remember that Shiva is not some good-looking, charming, sophisticated man that everyone is crazy about. He is described to be "dirty" and "smelly" and he isn't supposed to be a good-looking guy. KD's handsomeness kind of detracts from everything, but the whole point of Shiva and Raavi's relationship is that a person is worth more than their outside appearance and qualifications. Shiva isn't the best looking man, he isn't the most well-educated, and he certainly isn't someone you want to cross when he is angry, yet, even with all his flaws, he is perfect for Raavi.
Is that friend being rude? Certainly. Should she have done it in the middle of the road like that? Definitely not. Could the CVs have picked another track to show this insecurity? They could have, but I also think it's important to know that we sometimes make mistakes without knowing it. Raavi and the said friend probably made fun of Shiva multiple times while growing up. I don't think the friend had true ill intent, it was more of disbelief that Raavi would end up marrying the guy who she made fun of for being "smelly," "dirty," and "uneducated." Plus, they probably bashed him so many times, that she didn't realize that she now needed to filter her thoughts.
Shiva needs to grow up, and Raavi also needs to grow up. They committed multiple mistakes. Shiva with his manhandling and Raavi with her actions of bullying Shiva with friends (until I see Shiva's friend acknowledging that Shiva did the same of making fun of Raavi in front of friends, I have to say that this is a mistake that Raavi needs to own up to).
