If this was a k drama, shiva will slip with raavi and they will have a lip-butt (oops accidental kiss). If it was a Thai lakorn then raavi will slap shiva that because of you I fell and he will kiss her forcefully to make her realize that this wasn't his fall 🤣🤣my fantasizing brain

At least he can apply ointment or haldi chuna... Seeing shiva he will go for haldi chuna paste made by dharma maa.

It's okay to feel the disconnect after all the drama that we've bore since past few days. But today's episode gave me an affirmation that they are going back to the original route. I think the backlash that they got for the danda kaandh is being taken into account by the makers. So I hope they'll be back to normal in a few days or till the time the get back to Mumbai.

I personally loved the shivi scenes today, better than what I was expecting and shiva being soft to raavi is a sight to behold.. beautifully enacted by KD❤ The only thing I didn't like was the transition when he wakes up with a start, a flashback of them being stuck in the khandhar there would have been much appreciated. And yes, even I personally didn't like the song being played in the shivi night scene.. it would have been better if the focus there was only on the dialogue and expressions, it kinda didn't make sense to me, the song! But all in all perfectly done by shivi.

Maami- Shiva scene and Maami- Raavi scene both I enjoyed... first one being hilarious and the other one, raavi gave a nice answer to maasi.. however naive the girl is she definitely has some sense in her head and knows the value of relationships. ❤

@bold, no you're not delusional, he was definitely gazing at her lips, maybe wanting a morning kiss as a thank you 😉

@underline, I agree with you completely. Even I feel that he has always had feelings and affection for her. He has just masked it with his anger and hatred for maami and anyone related to her. Raavi has had to face the brunt of it always because since childhood she was the easiest target for him, other people being elder to him, he couldn't do much as a child and started targetting her, which eventually became his habit and a tool for him to hide his true emotions. Shiva is in general not a person who lets his feelings be known to anyone and is good at masking them. Now when he recently saw her in a near death state, his emotions took over him and he was in a devastated state.. the existence of emotions of care for her are not new for him but they have surfaced and erupted like this for the first time. This care for her was there at the time of suicide as well but again it was suppressed by the circumstances and he was able to hide it. But this time he was completely helpless, and everything just came out and he is just not able to understand his newly surfaced emotions, and that's why he had no answer to "ab kya badal gaya".

I don't know if I made any sense.. but I can just go on and on about Shiva's character, that's the effect it has on me🤣

P.S. Yes I hope the diary has a significant role to play and one fine day shiva does read it!

Enacted wonderfully by KD indeed! My admiration for him as an actor grows every day.

I was talking about the scene where they bump into each other on the morning of the wedding haha. Today's scene reminded me of that.. they way he gazed at her face and lips.

Him projecting the brunt of his anger at Raavi because of her being the only person his age makes sense, but somehow I find it unconvincing given how chotu Shiva used to take on Maami (and later Anita) with no qualms. I thought about this a bit, and it made me wonder if Shiva's affection goes back to way back when... he was 12 preleap, that's an age where you start getting innocent crushes and strange thoughts.

I've had this headcannon (along with a few others here) that ShiVi used to be friends before his father's death because there wouldn't be any reason for him to dislike her - Gombi said Shiva's spat with Mami started after his dad's death, so its safe to assume he was on amicable terms with Maami before that. Leading from this, I'd like to believe that Shiva was just starting to grow affectionate of her, which, as a preteen, is quite natural if you spend time with your longterm female friend. That's when his dad passes away and he pushes her away too - because it's a betrayal of a deeper kind to him. On top of that, Dev gets all of Raavi's attention and that might tick him off too - I wouldn't consider this too much but the first scene of the kids together has Raavi rushing out to meet Dev and Shiva seems to be extra boisterous and rude, and walks away in a way that suggests he was perhaps wanting for her attention there, while also wanting to bother her for being MKBKB. His dialogue there is very poignant - tu apne aap mer dushman ban gy na maami ki behen ki ghar paida hoke - that seems to be the root of his issues, that's her sin. He doesn't have a problem with Anita, another niece of Maami, becoming his bhabhi. Makes you wonder why?

That scene is what led me to consider these 2 theories, and I think they're plausible enough... or me being an overanalysing ShiVi stan read too deep into it 🤣

This would explain why Shiva was extra rude to Raavi even when he was okay with Anita - until she ditched Gombi, Shiva didn't project his hatred of Maami at her, but he did that for Raavi. His tools, like you said - Dev and anger/dislike!

I would love if Rishita stumbles across an older version of Raavi’s diary (once her and Raavi become more comfortable). I want it to give her an insight into their childhood. I want her to say “yeh ladki pagal hain kya” at the mention of Dev - not out of jealousy but because of how out of touch it is from who Dev truly is. I mean Raavi called Dev Kabir Singh 😆

What she finds fascinating is Raavi’s description of Shiva. It’s like reading a novel you can’t put down. The way she describes Shiva and the little moments between them leaves Rishita very curious and in awe.

I’m not fond of anyone reading another person’s diary but if they really want to show that, I would prefer it be Rishita. It can prompt her ask Raavi about their childhood (giving us flashbacks ❤️) and casually mention how Shiva is the star of her show. This will lead to Raavi revisiting her old diaries and making quite the discovery.

Maybe in the future when Shiva is dealing with his insecurities, Raavi gives him a bunch of her diaries and says, this should clear everything.

Aah, I would absolutely LOVE this. I've always wanted someone other than ShiVi to discover their childhood in a new light, my top choices are Krish and Rishita. Being an older diary makes the intrusion of privacy less serious, and Rishita isn't the kind of goody two-shoes who would feel too awful about taking a fun peak.

I love reading your posts too, always something to look forward to!

Let's start a mutual admiration club, shall we? 😆

I know right! She was his brother's bride but does that help his ziddi dil? Not in the slightest lol. Poor chap, I wonder how he got through teenage with all his raging hormones and emotions... Shiva's volatile and ambiguous as it is, imagine a teenaged Shiva 🤪

I think the entire resentment of Shiva runs deeper apart from Maami bitterness. It's as if he sees her, and his intense desire to manhandle her increases manifold. I would love a series of FB’s for Shivi to go back to their childhood and find out about each other again.

I agree - for him, it's not about falling but progressing further from where he is wrt Raavi. There's already a solid base of emotions and history to them, particularly from Shiva's side. For Raavi, though it's different as in she has to go through the whole process of discovering her changing feelings and accepting them, then figuring out what they mean. I've never felt she reciprocated anything before marriage, but her giveaway was the sheer amount of importance Shiva possessed in her life. Like he isn't aware of his own feelings (more because he doesn't allow himself to venture there than actual obliviousness), she isn't aware of exactly how significant Shiva is to her (plain obliviousness here).

Like you, Gaumbi and Raavi herself said, Shiva's world orbits Raavi. Raavi, caught up in her daydreams fails to recognise her's revolves around him too! Why would you keep bumbling around a guy who's perpetually rude to you and keeps rebuffing every act of friendship and kindness if there isn't more to it? No matter how loving and sunny you are, nobody would cling to Shiva's person and words like Raavi - his opinions matter, his approval is paramount and his words go straight to her head, remember how he suggested she try the highway for suicide and she did just that? Or her overjoyed reaction and implicit trust despite knowing how shararti he is, when he offered to do her bridal mehdni? And the sangeet dance, that was just the two of them and their world ❤️

Shiva’s world did revolve around Raavi, which was clearly stated in an episode. Raavi herself acknowledges that ‘Mujhe dekh k na Jane iske Andar k bhoot pishach nritya Kyun Karne lag jati ha?”

Shiva himself acknowledges that when he sees her, he gets 440 watts ka jhatka 😆These weren't just dialogues but had an immense foreshadowing of their equation.

I remember the Mehendi and Sangeet ❤️

Raavi’s subconscious always had Shiva. I want her to go back and realise what he meant to her.

Raavi isn't in love, but she's already got half the recipe down. It is indeed a journey of realization and growth more than falling in love. GauRa had their own soft journey, which made sense for them. These two blindsided patakhas deserve to be explored better than that, with originality!

Raavi isn't in love for sure, but sometimes, in life, it takes a while to understand what people mean in your life. We often take care for granted, and people around us to be lurking around forever.

I think Raavi has never channelised her energies on anything else apart from Dev! Now that her channelling is over, she will be able to see the world beyond her imagination.

Shiva exists as a constant in her life. As for Shiva, we need to go back to their adolescence, innocence. Raavi’s rejection triggered him as a child too. He was so annoyed when she had called him Jhalla or when she taunts him in comparison with Dev.
