What we all forget is our behaviour skills get attuned to what we see or what we ourselves bear, tho Dhara has loved everyone her whole life she was rebuked by the society and MIL who also abused her physically, which could sometime prop up in Dhara too, she has learnt tho unintentionally that scaring someone by harming them physically and mentally you can get them do things that you desire them to. She wasn't taught her behaviour, it was mostly self taught which will of course have defects.
She is not a child to not differentiate between right and wrong. What you are saying can be used for a child who doesn't have their own sense of right and wrong and basically learn and imitate. As someone pointed out, she has stopped gautam from hitting them in past and said that they could talk so she clearly knows the difference. She just wanted an outlet to vent out her frustration and anger and she made ShiSh her punching bag. I dont care how angry she was, it doesn't give her the right to beat grown men like that when she herself is partially responsible for this mess. She got two people who hate each other married and wanted them to act like husband and wife within a week of the girl trying to commit suicide. She wants to be the elder than she has to take the love and blame equally. She never bothered to keep rishita in check. Infact she basically tried to justify her beating in front of Suman by saying ShiSh behavior got worse. Really ? They didn't even do much till bhoot kaand. Also she kept berating everyone as she expected them take rishita's misbehavior the way she does and not react.
