She wasn't taught her behaviour, it was mostly self taught which will of course have defects.

She is not a child to not differentiate between right and wrong. What you are saying can be used for a child who doesn't have their own sense of right and wrong and basically learn and imitate. As someone pointed out, she has stopped gautam from hitting them in past and said that they could talk so she clearly knows the difference. She just wanted an outlet to vent out her frustration and anger and she made ShiSh her punching bag. I dont care how angry she was, it doesn't give her the right to beat grown men like that when she herself is partially responsible for this mess. She got two people who hate each other married and wanted them to act like husband and wife within a week of the girl trying to commit suicide. She wants to be the elder than she has to take the love and blame equally. She never bothered to keep rishita in check. Infact she basically tried to justify her beating in front of Suman by saying ShiSh behavior got worse. Really ? They didn't even do much till bhoot kaand. Also she kept berating everyone as she expected them take rishita's misbehavior the way she does and not react.

Let's agree to disagree about a generic statement like forum wasis. Every single person hates Suman for her gender discrimination, sexist comments, and this has been raised time and again by everyone.

I have hated Suman when she talks about Rishita’s clothes and threw money at her face.

Well if years of nurturing and giving herself for 10 years for the cause of family/business asks for a license to hit her bache in return, sorry ..its not done. Nobody refutes dharas contribution and sacrifices for the family ..I loved her once upon a time but dunno why the cvs butchered her.completely.

Anyways if she did something wrong , admit mistake, apologize and get done wth it instead of justifying herself. Shiva and krish are not Bache. Shiva is a married man. Which mother beats up her grown up married son in front of his wife? She should be punished for the wrong she did , just as Shiva and krish were punished for wrongs they did..Suman was abusive but she changed n I give dhara all the credit..doesn't mean dhara should be forgiven ..doesn't matter who punishes her , I want someone to show er the mirror.

Hey, it's great to read POV's of each one of you, I'm in no way supporting violence, neither by Dhara nor by Suman, issues can be resolved by having good conversations. I think the actors too weren't happy with the track since none posted anything about the thrashing scene which in fact required a lot of acting chops be it the assaulter or victim. I think this is a failure of writing and plot development, the original bhabhi character doesn't even raise her voice much let alone kicking her devars black and blue. I think the PH is struggling with the covid situation which is effecting the plot.

A) Dhara had choice to marry Gaumbi unlike Raavi, who is literally pushed into marriage.

B) Dhara chose the life she lives, she wanted all of it that came with Gaumbi. Gaumbi never ever pushed her to get married.

C) Dhara has always received infinite love and affection from the devars for the amount of work(as you put) she has put in and unconditional devotion to the extent of the devars being dumb idiots.

D) Suman is now invalidating Dhara’s affection towards the brothers because Dhara was crazily obsessed about hiding the batwara thing from her than making the dumb batwara plan work for benefit of family. She always keeps suman out of the loop which naturally irked suman to the extent she’s now done with her.

Suman's character was not acceptable one but she was a representation of our people with regressive thinking.

Coming to Dhara no one is questioning her love for her devar. All of them know she loves them.

The main problem is she knows what she is doing is wrong so only she threatend not to tell anything to suman. If what she did was correct she would be the first one to inform suman. The fear inside dhara itself a proof that what she did wrong and unacceptable

Agreed.

Suman was an unbearable character for me and I skipped major portions of pre leap epis bec of her. But I like her post the leap bec of her sense of justice. She was a hard core dhara hater but she saw how dhara loved her sons , how dhara saved the family business, heck whatever they are today is bec of dhara. So the change which she brought in her attitude was commendable ..and natural....later , she correctly pointed out why dhara was wrong in the whole dev raavi fiasco. When gombi confronted her with the truth , she understood ..n now suman always supports her in front of rishita or mami. She is like that protective mother who stops anyone from hurting her children (chahe kitna bada mistake ho ) but also has the right to correct them if they are wrong .

Like dhara has rights on her bache, suman has a right on dhara and gombi. She has let dhara take control ofnthe house and family bec she trusts her n she has faith in dhara..she can def reprimand dhara for her mistake.

If speaking realistically, Suman has no choice than to let Dhara be, actually they're trying to idealise dhara otherwise if in rl there would be no dhara, who would be so patient with everyone in the house for so long!! these days people like nuclear families like rishitha is or how anitha dreamt of. Dhara is the strong pillar which holds the family together.

A family doesn’t stay the same forever... Dhara was wonderful... still is... but you don’t have to follow one decision for 10 years... it was her choice to be more interested in getting dev married then think about having a baby.

Suman gave her the authority to be the mother-in-law to Raavi and Rishita, and Dhara proved she isn’t ready for this role, which I think is perfectly fine.

I want her to have a break be a bahu and then gain her respect of being the eldest and bhabimaa status back.

The writers messed up and doubled their mistake... if only dhara beat them up and then regretted next morning or only did the batwara but noo we got a proper raita felauu track.

Beating Shish was out of character for Dhara and unacceptable.
