Give Raavi better clothes

Prewedding look was perfect for her character - the clothes, hairstyles all of it screamed Raavi. I don't know what they're doing now, the sarees were hideous and made her look like the older woman - both Dhara and Rishita wore normal, lighter sarees. The salwars look pretty on Alice but they're too glittery and don't gel with the vibe of the show - Raavi always looks like she's ready to attend a party with those sequined suits and heavy jewellery. The rest of the characters wear pretty normal clothes, they look like they're indoors. I wish they would bring back the old style or some modification of it.

Alice looks best in pastels and plain bold shades. And please let her wear something modern, preferably without a gimmicky dupatta.

What's your opinion on the change in Raavi's wardrobe?

For heaven’s sake she is a 20 year old and keep her that way. As you said, her pre marriage dresses were much better,

I feel Rishita is getting much better clothes than her, especially in rasoi day she briefly wore a saree for the pooja, hers was much better than Raavi and even the day they all went to the Temple, the day after the wedding, her saree was much better.

Exactly! It's like they're tryna scream from the rooftops that this 21yo is married. Um, okay, we kinda got that during the 2-week shadi, you've made your point.

I swear, Raavi could've easily passed as Gombi's wife in that puja sequence smh. Look at Dhara, a character who wears sarees on a regular basis - her costumes are not ott, they're simple, light and elegant. Even during special occasions, Dhara doesn't wear overwhelming outfits.

Rishita definitely has the better wardrobe. I'm thankful atleast one of them got a palatable makeover - her outfits aren't too much of a departure from preweding style and I love it. She even wore that white dress for her pizza date with Dev and nobody judged her, so I'm hopeful we'll get to see her in her previous avatar once in a while too.

The aesthetics of this show include the realistic styling. Hope they keep it intact for the new Pandya ladies.

I hated the pink saree, dhara and rishita both have great wardrobe. Pre-wedding it was good for raavi too, now I don't like her dresses.

Thank God, I wasn't the only one feeling like this. I mean i dont really have that much a problem with the salwar, it's the saari I have a problem with. They are definitely of the older fashion. I wish they would give her some newer style clothes or just let her dress like she did before the marriage.

The older fashioned sarees aren't appropriately styled. The pink saree would look brilliant if it were styled, not like a jhala. Alice is petite, and Banaras Silk looks like a curtain because of the strange half-blouse. If they gave her a tight bun neutral eyes, only hooded liner, big earrings and no neckpiece with a slim sleeveless blouse, she would look way prettier.

But I get the point probably they are making. She isn't herself. So shabby. Maybe in the coming episodes, they make it better.

Been a silent reader on this forum for a while now but turns out, outfit related posts make me respond😆

Clothing, IMO, can be a great and subtle tool for storytelling and my guess that is what is happening here with Raavi. She's come from a household that has lost quite a lot of money in the last 10years, which in turn would have lead to reducing expenses, but we have also seen Raavi prides herself on her looks and clothing so, my guess is that most of her sarees and suits are hand me downs from Prafulla and Anita, which she has tried to style in a more girlish way rather than maybe the gujarati style Prafulla wore them in. In my imagination, our resourceful Raavi took all of the clothes, went to a tailor and styled them with their help as best as possible.

I am sure we will see her clothing reflect her own style more as we move forward and see her come into her own as a Pandya bahu.

OMG, yes!!!

I loved the look she had with her entry scene. She looked so young and lively. Alice is 28 and looked like 21 (Raavi's age at the time).

But with newer look definitely seems to have aged her. Especially the sarees. She almost looks like Dhara's age with these style. I wish if she were to wear sarees for special occasion, then the blouses are more stylish and she wears it like how she did for her haldi. She looks so young and vibrant. Dhara's sarees are gorgeous too.

I hope for Pujaas the next 15 days, her previous look is returned!
