I get that Danish wants to do similar types of roles - angry man in mad love... But at least he should stop acting with such young girls... The love story feels so disconnected esp since the young ones usually are weak actors since they don't have much experience.
Even Danish can't pull this drama.. I'm stopping watching this drama. It seems like I'm watching some old Danish's drama. Nothing new.
I have never felt more represented in a drama before
I mean, where is the lie?
"Demons run when a good man goes to war"
- Steven Moffat (Doctor Who)
Evil, as it is in our world, is mundane and unremarkable. There is nothing special about it for it's common and lies buried within the hearts of humans awaiting a chance to emerge and wreck havoc. It callously destroys lives without sparing a second thought. It goes on and on and on with us dealing with it in different ways. Some choose to go on with their lives. Some vent their frustrations. Some fight back. Meanwhile, some seek refuge in stories. Tired and worn out, we turn to our mind to shelter us from the brutality of the world outside. Hence, we dream.
I have always loved watching and reading about villains. Those nefarious fictional villains who, adorned by their vices, tend to leave a trail of destruction and chaos in their wake. Villains have potential for entertaining arcs because there is so much that can be done with them. They can go from bad to worse. They can get their comeuppance. And, because fiction is a realm of infinite possibilities, they can also be redeemed. They can be made to regret their actions and feel remorse. They can change for the better. They can genuinely care. In this make believe world, evil can be vanquished and erased from existence by good. I guess this is why a multifaceted villain makes for such an alluring fantasy: It is next to impossible in reality.
Another fantasy that's equally or perhaps even more appealing is that of a force of good in all its might and glory. Unlike evil, good, in reality, is devoid of mediocrity. So, it stands to reason that when bedecked in the finery that is permitted by fiction, good can become infinitely more attractive. This is why we love our heroes.
Heroes.......like Kabir. He is, perhaps, the most noble character Danish has played until now. With a heart of gold, Kabir is a fantasy given flesh. An intelligent man who takes a stand for what's right while bludgeoning the wrongdoers and bringing them down to their knees. He is not weak and helpless but a legitimate threat to the wicked. Simultaneously, I love how beautifully human he is. He is affected by his surroundings and the people around him. He feels deeply and doesn't hesitate to express them.
Intensity is one of Danish's strong suits as an actor and I love how he channels it as per the needs of the character he plays. Aggression, which is generally viewed as a negative emotion, when expressed by character as righteous as Kabir through an actor as smart as Danish, can turn into a positive force to be reckoned with which can leave scumbags like Faraz shaking in their boots.
And it is always a delight to watch.
Kabir and Riya's interactions are fun to watch precisely because he treats Riya not like a lover (yet) but like an old friend whom he is mad at but still cares for.

I’ll be back after tonight’s episode, Mel! Loved reading your analysis Spot on as always!
Riya's clan is full of nautankibaaz folks. Bhai Sikandar? Veer Pahariya 2.0. Behen Asma? Cheater. But boy are they entertaining.
I'm liking Mahbina and Mubeen for now though.
I'm afraid you might need someone to hold you once you are done with this episode. I know I didOriginally posted by: Ashley.Tisdale
