Unfortunately in show he is never truly represented as fedual lord, his character keeps changing as per plot requirements and more steering towards meerub accepting him.
They elevated him so much with all dialogues but they don’t much show his fedual side in actions ! The char emphasis is only on his changing himself to be accepted by Meerub and how he reacts to everyone (minus haya 🙄) everything which threatens them and her .
Meerub is only character which remains constant and same throughout! She is shown softening towards him but her core values still remain intact , she chooses her ideals over her own self or own happiness! That’s is why she was so adamant on Naila, H or Mariyam not having a say in their own marriage. It’s sore point for her personally but at same time she was always vocal about women rights !
As far as showing his ruthlessness can he direct it to MZ not Rohail. Former is bigger enemy, latter is nothing ! But still doesn’t make sense he would send his henchmen to beat him up !
Is it possible when Saba informs Meerub that Rohail was thrashed again and points it was KMK, Meerub will refuse to believe first and when she asks him he will also deny!
Maybe they will show security footage of Bhaktu and Co , that’s when she will be both hurt and heartbroken and will feel betrayed and leave him.
For all reasons showing he actually got his men to beat Rohail makes no sense , as it wouldn’t earn any brownie points for him intact this act kinda will burn the remaining bridges between them (assuming this order was before he knew or saw Meerub at haveli).
