Yeah, I'm of the same opinion. I have no issue with the "nice guy", but for me, being brave, clear about things, and taking initiative are also very attractive qualities. I sometimes found Saad to be rather lazy and lacking self esteem. His go-to response to conflict was to let others walk over him and sulk at the back. Knowing my own personality, I would find it irritating if the guy I was with didn't know how to create boundaries for himself and assert his own opinions and thoughts. In real life, when someone keeps repressing their opinions and thoughts for so long in a relationship, they tend to become resentful later on. Of course we don't get to see that in MPHT because that would be too much nuance for a rather superficial plot, but it's a very common ordeal in desi families.

Waise pehle wahaj ko drama mein ladke nahi milte thi ab jab mil jate hai tu I love you ka reply mein I love u too nahi bolte 🤣.

I liked the ending but I’m saying this as someone who skipped all the Faha scenes. I only enjoy this show because I forward through Areeb’s family’s scenes. I like that Saad stood up to Areeb. He can now that he is very clear on where Maheer stands. Their last scene together was cute. Saad has no game 😂 I’m still amazed that he played Murtasim and Saad simultaneously. Murtasim was so good at flirting and Saad just doesn’t even know where to start 😂 He’s a cutie though.

Isn't it the same with most pak dramas

I don't think I watched any show all 40 mins duration since last 5 to 6 years now

Ideally Saad is the guy you want but we’re more drawn to characters like Murtasim on tv. I’m real life though I would want Saad over Murtasim although I have the hugest crush on Murtasim. Saad is such a decent and respectful guy though and he definitely stood up for Maheer when needed. I don’t think he will be like Saad in Mein. You can tell just by the body language. Saad’s mannerisms and body language lacks confidence which I didn’t see in Zaid’s character.

He became confident when he saw maheer wants to stay in the relationship not coz of compromise or pity but coz she wants to make the marriage work

Apart from the last scene nothing was worth watching. Such a boring last episode.

God how toxic can this writer get. She just whitewashed areeb's Mom and let Areeb take false rape accusation and wht the hell was that. Areeb's Mom kept gaslighting Areeb and in the end she had the audacity to disown her son whose life got ruined by her own evil actions. She blamed Areeb for her husband's death when she was the one who kept nagging her husband and son during the wedding prep.

What was the point of showing Faha making false allegation multiple times and police arresting guys without even bothering investigating the claim .

What crap is that.

This show is as problematic as TB at least TB people tried to rectify their mistake . But this guys are worst and kept repeating the same shit 👎🏼

The last episode atleast served me good wahaj hania scenes .
