I think I first saw Imran Ashraf in GuleRana. Although I didn't know much of him and thought he was going to be just a side character, I did notice that his acting was 100x better than the leads. And I really hoped he got more chances. Who knew my wish would come true. (I have to say sometimes he does overdo the emotional scenes but there is something nice about his sincerity to his work)

I too feel that Imran Ashraf is passionate about his work.

I think it is more difficult for ordinary looked girls to get lead roles. For this we keep getting more dramas of Alizeh Shah and Anmol Baloch, while Sabeena Farouq and Sukaina Khan are getting side or negative roles.😒

I agree. Most female characters are pretty, petite, demure, nice to look at ones, young and hence actresses cast in those roles are cherry picked based on their looks.

Someone who is not conventionally pretty or exudes confidence & power get very few opportunities. For eg Sanam Saeed or Saba etc. will not qualify for 99% of the roles on air today. (good thing that they choose to either). Guess that air of flair comes with age and experience too. Sajal, Mawra, Kubra etc are in the same line..perhaps 2-3yrs more and then they will get bigger than the heroes,hence will get written off to do feminist roles.

Sarah is so pretty but my only issue with her is her bland and dheeli acting

This is another problem for actresses, they age fast , while actors who are 10 yrs or more older are still playing lead roles : collage going guys, or starting job.
