yeah it was indeed thought provoking and as you said.. self-checking.

I liked Shehr e Zaat despite its flaws..despite my criticism towards many things/[people within the show, I still liked it because of its substance/content. And, I say this without reading the novel..I could only imagine what significance SeZ holds for those who have read the novel.

and yeah..those who have read the novel, didn't quite love the show as much. It's hard to believe how Falak's naani is not in the novel? I still can't wrap my head around that..because from whatever was presented in the show, her naani was an integral part in Falak's transition.

I watched the drama and then read the english translation of the novel. I liked the drama more than the novel because while reading the novel I already knew the story and because my most fav parts in the drama were Nani's dialogues!

Ghurbat aur badsurti k elava kis cheez ki kami hai saima choudhry mein... husn aur jawaani ki daulat sy maala maal hai saima choudhry 😆

Dont mind excess of Saima choudhry dialogues.im watching takay ki aayegi baraat these says because of my cousins who have come from abroad and are on a pakistani serial watching spree 😆
