It has 15 episodes. I would definitely recommend it. Honestly, I randomly started watching Malal one day without really knowing Imran Abbas had a major role in it..and I never ever really liked Imran prior to this show...but Imran was really good as Jawad, his character. Umera Ahmed wrote his character really well, and Mehreen directed him brilliantly..it just extracted the best out of him. I think if there's anything that makes me think that Imran has it in him do well if he wants to - then it's Malal.

I would go as far as saying, I can't picture anyone but Imran as Jawad. I think one of my favorite male characters in a Pakistani show.

I agree with you Starstruck..loved Malaal. And the ending was so appropriate. A very underrated drama. One of the best in my opinion. And I agree Imran and Zinia were very convincing were lovely to watch. All o did a fantastic job..well cast in my opinion. I liked Imran in Mohabbat aur Khudda..( I hope I hve the title right). Now moving on to Doraha...😉

Will be back...

I agree APL was down right boring...and the actors too need some lessons in acting.

I know! I randomly stumbled upon it (it was one of the side videos)..and I felt ecstatic! 😆 I tend to go back to some of the shows I absolutely love (from time to time) and I could not really do that with Malaal because it was in horrible print and whatever was available on youtube wasn't the entire thing. And, yeah the biggest problem while recommending this show was that it wasn't available in good print.

I was actually watching random Zinia-Jawaad scenes. 😆 Perhaps the only show of Imran's where I absolutely adored him. Deepti Gupta is awesome..she deserves more work. She was the best performer in Malaal by far. I absolutely love the OST too. I wish we made more shows like Malaal..the content, direction..and everything was amazing.

Yes! Same here, I wanted to go back to this show and even tried but the low quality videos were so off putting. Jawad/Zinia are in my list of favourite on-screen Pakistani couples. Jawad is a sweet-heart and such a go-getter. A very well written character. Him and Zinia both, that from their very first scene you want them to be together. Deepti was the best performer, she was also my favourite in "Mastana Mahi," a show which I ended up hating thanks to Mehreen's character but Deepti made it interesting in her small role.

What did you think about Danish/Mahi's ending?
