Article about why Humsfar is not nominated!

Hey guys,

This isn't a valid excuse. I don't think Mahira really needs to be nominated for HS because she was much better in SEZ, but as a drama and Fawad/Naveen's performances deserved acknowledgement. The nominations are just so pathetic.
And okay, what about DES and Bilquees Kaur? Clearly both were a thousand times better serials and performances than Roshan Sitara and YPNH.

When are the awards actually happening though? So I guess my guess is right? HS's probably gonna get some sort of a tribute..

How does that even make sense? Obviously if something was great it deserves awards regardless of whether others will get awards or not should not be a concern.

I agree Sana, why has Naveen been overlooked constantly? Mahira is a mediocre actress at best while Naveen sunk her teeth into the role given yet she has not gotten any nods. Why Fawad was not nominated just does not make sense.

Then there are the other shows Sana mentioned like DeS. No one is going to be happy with this awards show.

I think these nominations should've been there Umz. You acknowledge something for good.. Not nominating it to keep it neutral is so stupid.
Best Actor Male - Fawad
Best Actor Female - Naveen
Best Actor Female - Sanam Baloch for DES not RS
Best Drama - Humsafar, DES and Bilquees Kaur

I don't think Mahira's a medicore actress Umz.. She's a little better than that IMO. Especially in the second half of SEZ.. But that's not important.
Honestly, Hum TV's making themselves look like fools.

These are all lame excuses. This also proves that there may not be any critics choice categories. If that was the case then they could've included Humsafar in the viewers choice without fearing anything else..and then acknowledging who THEY think is worthy of winning through the critics choice. At the end of the day that's how it is everywhere. Look at bollywood..they have a million categories so everyone wins. 😆 Not saying we have to do that to (we shouldn't though)..but we could have popular choice and critics choice.

Hum Awards should be drama awards and perhaps music. No award show in bollywood gives best model, or best designer.
Lux is there to do that.
Hum should really think about acknowledging like SS said categories such as negative, comedy, supporting, ensemble, director, etc.
And critics should be there too..

Bari Aapa sucked IMO, only the direction was good, and the acting!

There are WAYYY better shows out there!

I wouldn't say it sucked. It was quite entertaining. The last few episodes were disappointing though.
And Sharmeen/Adeel's acting was really bad. Eesa was okay..
