Fari, the part you wrote about hypocritical men making their wife wear burqa, that is so true! I mean I know some relatives who are like that> That's just the mentality of some men, they don't do it for religion/culture but just to show their power over her. :/ But even though Zaroon is not that extreme, I still hate the way he forces his opinions upon others, even if his opinions are right, its just so wrong to impose them in such a way on someone.

I actually have some relatives who are really religious, always giving Islamic talks etc, and when a family does something which is bad according to Islam they start talking about them or lecturing them saying your kids are doing this or that, why are you letting them? Whereas, they're OWN kids are so awara and they do nothing about it, they act like their kids are a perfect example 😆

I think the best part about this drama will be how Zaroon will change with Kashaf by his side...special people influence you or do change you for the better. All of us have our own share of problems..it's whether or not we overcome them in the end is what matters...and both characters will once they come together.

Likewise, Kashaf is ungrateful for the stuff she has accomplished in life because she has seen more sorrows than happiness..yet when she'll marry Zaroon..she'll start realizing how she was wrong all along and that Allah did have something good in store for her.

All in all..in the end, we'll all feel that zindagi is indeed gulzar...

You girls have an amazing discussion going on here! 👏 I checked in at 2 and you were at it. Now it's almost 5 and you're still here. 😆

The culture v.s religion debate could go on forever. And no matter what the two are very influenced by each other. In both right and wrong ways. These hypocritical people exist everywhere. I know some myself, and the way they think is very difficult to change. That's why they have all that 'false ego'. They think too much of themselves and when two of these ego's clash I know how bad it gets. 🤣 But in my opinion, it is still Zaroon's responsibility to try. No matter how hard he gets told off. 😳

Does Zaroon ever change in the novel? Never mind, I was typing too long. Jawab mil gaya. 😆

Jab pyar hota hai..it's more like you want to change for the better because there are certain things you know the other person likes..or they just seem to be right, when doing them for that person. Isiliye to sacha wale pyar ki yehi nishani hoti hai..force kar ke badalne se..aur zabardasti kuch karne se you can't call it love 😳
