I will write about this drama tomorrow but a little information...this play is NOT written by bajia but this is an adaptation of a novel by ZUBAIDA KHATOON daughter of famous writer A-R-Khatoon writer of SHAMA & AFSHAN also adapted for Television by bajia. I have read these novles for more then 50 times & 2 years back when i went to pakistan I purchase it for myself & whenever i get a chance i start reading them & every time they r as interesting as first time. 😊

well, but wasn't it rewritten, or the dialouges written by Bajia.

Today I was watching Shama on PTV. I think those dramas were simily great. boht hi pyaarye thye. aab tu uss tarha keh bantye hi nahian.

well yes that is known as TV adaptation, bajia wrote the dialogues & change the story to present as these novels were written before 1947, uroosa is after seperation & Chashma is half before & half after otherwise shama, afhsan, haala, aaina were written before pakistan, then Uroosa, Rumana, Farhana r written by Zubaida Khatoon after 1947. some of these r available at central library mississauga and yes its true that I have read these novels more then 50 times, I m re-reading Chashma these days.
the old PTV dramas were great, Uncle Urfi, dhoop chaon, tanhayian, khuda kee basti, shama, afshan, kiran kahani(old one with rohi bano) shazori...oh just one word for all of them SUPERB!! 👍🏼

oh yes I forgot one more SUPERB! drama, "UNKAHI"

I havent read AR Khatoon's novels but my dad is number 1 fan of hers... he has the whole collection of these novels n reads every single day n funny thing is he enjoys them as if its the first time he is reading em lolz

same here, I have the whole collection & I always keep reading them & I always enjoy them like it is first time.....

woow farhana aunty 50 times...saba appi is right app naye toh record tor diya...my granma is a gr8 fans of these novels as well...she said she read them in her youth and re-read them many times afterwards

Wasn't Bandhan too written by A.Khatun? it was based on a novel too. well two, it was a combined story of two novel.
