When was the first time POW affected you? - Page 2

I was late to catch the first epi and the first scene i saw of this series was the scene where the family met imaan and sartaj after 17 yrs.

First time it affected me was the entire reunion scene. Woman waiting for her husbands. Sartaj father touching his hair. Imaam meeting his grown up children. I had tears in my eyes looking at their condition. I mostly don't cry with that my mother was siting beside. Yet i couldn't control.

Others were Harleen helping Sartaj have a bath and touching those wounds. The entire episode where they told about what exactly happened with them in 17 years, how they met one other, how they became a shikar of Pak losses in match.

Especially the family meeting... I cried and am not lying!! 😭

The first epi was a rollercoaster ride of emotions but I cried so much when imaan tells about his first meet with sartaj and also in d party where he mentions how after four days they used to get beat up ...

For me all torturous scenes of both imaan and sartaj affected me the most... They were horrible to see and the most unsettling thing was to imagine that the torture shown on TV is real.. Many soldiers have gone thru it and may be they have died in that enemy cell itself.. We cant even imagine what soldiers who are POW have gone thru or going thru...

Too many times, but the three that come into my mind directly probably are: (And in this exact order)


1) The first time they met again after 17 years. Just two families portraying a brilliance of varied emotions. The children casually standing at the back. The father and mother of the respective families making a move first. Harleen uncertain, Nazneen crying. I cried with them. It was so brilliantly portrayed.

So many... just so many...

the first time it affected me allliott when salim died...he was one of the decent charector of the series...and next when sadiq cried on Hussain's death...that scene just make me cry after so many days...

and that after todays...when Sid come to know that he is going to be a father...and his reactions...i know he want that child but day by day he was mentioned as the killer of hussain and then giving birth of a child on the pick ofbhis mission shook him totally...now he is in dilemma what he will do...will he go to india leaving Afreen and his child here or will he go with them????
