Ah.. I'm having second thoughts on what I suggested before..

Shriya (or Shreya as Kollywood likes to call har) would be ideal for that role too. She has great legs, is very slim and looks totally ravishing in recent photos. Come Shivaji, she might be the most sought after girl in Kolly/Tollywoods.

P.S: Nayantara is definitely looking a lot pretty after she lost some weight, but still I can't forget the image of her thighs literally jiggling in the "Ammadi, aathadi" song in Vallvan - may be her personal trainer forgot to tell her to tone down her thighs/arms. It was kind of odd to watch that.
Oh yeah Jiggs, totally agree with you on this one. There are only a very few of them who can carry themselves pretty and sexy when exposing, without bordering on vulgarity.

My choice is Surya and Asin. They make cute pair. Surya will suit in Hirthik's role and Asin will do great in Ash's role... what do you guys think?

Oh god...... agreed about Nayantra though!!!. Her looks in Aiyah and Ghajini.......... yewwwwwwwwwwww...... so much difference. I was reeling with shock!

serial, surya will do great in hrithik's role but asin just cannot fit aishwarya's role. that role requires a slim & sexy girl. asin is beautiful but she's not in the very least slim. those miniskirts & midriff tops will look awful on her.😕

shreya is the girl who acted with jeyam ravi in 'Mazhai'. now she's acting with rajini in 'Sivaji' and with vijay in 'Azhagiya Tamizh Magal'. shreya is pretty but she's a terrible actress. and i mean terrible.😆😆 she may fit into the role better than sada like jenim said so. if shreya plays the heroine, i'd recommend arya as her pair, not ravi.😊

nayantara used to be one of my most adored actresses because i really loved her potrayal in 'Ayya'. but post Vallavan, i just feel disgusted that i used to like her.🤢🤢

but no matter how many heroines comes & go, i still love sada the best.😃 she has the potential to make it big, if only people took a 2nd look at her instead of labelling her as a bimbo (not talking about you Caryn).😉 she is a talented actress. watch 'Unnale Unnale', 'Jeyam' & 'Priyasakhi' if you don't believe me.😊

Guys..You know what.. As I was suggesting Shriya for the D-2 role, I thought... Man! This girl can't act for nuts. But then I realized that role doesn't need any one to act at all.. just a great bod, cute face and good dancing skills, that's it!
Oh.. and they should know how to say the word "like" about a 100 times. Example: "Are you..like checking me out..like" 😆
Shriya in my opinion seems to be cut out for that role.

I think she's very pretty, but I was appalled at her performance in "Thiruvilayadal Arambam" with Dhanush. Jeez.. She wasn't even attemting to say her dialogues properly. The dubbing track didn't synch at all. I had a feeling she was saying the dialogues in a different language (perhaps Hindi) when the dubbing was in Tamil 😡

And I know that Shankar being a perfectionist, cannot stand such cr*p from actors. He would've knocked the life out of her, for Shivaji. There's so much hype about her performance and dancing. Can't wait to check out the songs on TV.

you're 100% right jenim. judging from all the flims shreya has done till now, i think she fits the bill the best. the blank brained heroine with a perfect body & looks. yes, her acting in 'Thriuvillaiyadal' was horrid. she's really a terrible actress.😆😆😆

i thought shankar would pay more attention in whom he chooses a heroine. shreya is perfect 10 in look department but a big fat zero in the acting department. and the way she delivers her dialogues.. lord.. shankar must have had a heart attack.😆😆

hype about shreya's performance & dance? in a rajini film? look what happened to nayantara, superstar's jodi in chandramukhi. she got relegated to the backseat with 5 scenes & 2 songs. no one can shine more than rajnikanth in a rajini film. a fact that no one can deny, even if it is a shankar film.😉

Oh ya!! Shriya was horrible in the Thiruvillaiyadal. I really cannot beleive she is acting in Shankar's movie so, now we know how weight her role will be in Shivaji 😃 😃 and I agree with Leena regarding Asin. So, maybe Surya and Sada, never seen this combination...

Oh.. the hype I mentioned is the littler.. lets say almost a miniscule kind of hype that a heroine gets.. the kind that one gets just because they are paired up with Rajini 😆

I am not a great fan of Rajini at all. But I've come to terms with certain facts. It's like the hollywood thing. If any one ever won a Academy award (Oscar) for the rest of their lives, they would be titled "Academy award winner so and so" - even if they were ever nominated for one say, 20 years ago, they would be titled "Academy award nominee XYZ" - you would see this in regular bill boards, film advertisements etc and in whatever public event they participate.

In Kollywood too, I'm starting to think, it's the same sentiment. If one gets paired up with Rajini these days, the title sticks with them for life. I've seen in plenty of tamil mags, Nayantara till now is addressed as "Rajini Jodi" - I can't believe for the trivial role + the 2 songs she got like you said, she's still touted as one. It's almost like an honor to get paired up with him. Which is not the case with other heroes.
