After a successful run of almost 350 episodes, The Great Indian Comedy Show is here with a new avatar, fresh look… Never seen before gags and new faces… Altogether combining to make this the craziest show on Indian television once again! The show that has redefined television comedy is now quite aptly and simply called The Comedy Show…Ha Ha Ha, launches on 28 August, Monday to Wednesday, 10.30 PM only on STAR One.
The Comedy Show…Ha Ha Ha', marks the beginning of a completely new epoch in television comedy in its appearance, writing, and performances. The Laughter Challenge finalists, guest celebrities, and the new team of power performers include Purab Kohli, Gaurav Kapoor and Rakesh Paul, who will now regularly treat you to their outrageous brand of stand-up and mind-boggling comedy!
Retaining the unique blend of the best of sketch comedy and stand up formats, all packed into one fun filled half hour that moves breathlessly from one type of hilarity to another, this tri-weekly show will sport laughter champions Raju Shrivastav, Ahsaan Qureshi and Sunil Pal, in never seen before hilarious new gags designed around their oddball characters.
Apart from the regular ensemble cast which consists of the most talented comics in the country including Suresh Menon, Purbi Joshi, Sonia Rakkar, Kiku, Suchitra Pillai, Howard Rosenmeyer, Ashwin Mushran and Vishal Malhotra amongst others, who will now feature in the line-up.

Every episode opens with a quick menu, segueing into the opening montage with the host of the day taking you through his stand up monologue, with witty one-liners on current events from the world of politics, sports, business, and of course, Bollywood! The show will also feature exciting new formats like spoofing the never-ending soaps on the idiot box!
Every day, you can tune in to Panvati, the story of an unloved ugly duckling who will one day transform into an equally ugly, unloved TV soap actress. Also look forward to our Movie of the Month; on the last Wednesday of every month, a special episode will be aired to spoof a current hit movie, classic film or genre. Suresh Menon will host this in his Ratan Re-imburse avatar; and will deliver his take on the movie, introducing the key scenes of the movie in his trademark TCS way. Yash Uncle will now come in to introduce the spoof version of Deewaar or DDLJ, or Ram Gopal Verma to try and convince Ratan of the greatness of his unmade movies!
