big big sorry to all of u..for disappearing so suddenly without any prior notice...actually i was taking some break from writing and my activities in forum..as i was lost the last ounce of interest on this story i have been left with (I already quitted it)..really annoying serial(sorry if i am offensive)..serial kr have lost their charm on me ..so i thought of taking a break before i write further..actualy my mind set didn't let me to type a single word...i am feeling refreshing after my tour to goa with my lovely family..so I am back..

Really miss u all and also our mtb kr...

i know it's a small update..but what to do?it was all i could type in a short span of time..kindly adjust pls..

Next day morning..

Raji scrunched her already closed eyes..as the blazing sun light hits her face suddenly..and covered her face with the dwelt..but it was pulled off with a force immediately..

"Yenna madam dewali adhuvumaa ippadi 8 mani varaikkum thoongureenga?"

Sumi's taunting voice jerked her back from the sleep..she got up at once..Sumi was standing in front of her with a teasing smile ..she was looking gorgeous in her pink anarkalai suit probably her diwali dress...

Raji rubbed her lazy eyes which were reddish indicating her sleepless night..

"Happy diwali Raji..."Sumi literally pounced on her in over excitement..

On a contrary Raji stretched her lips slightly in the name of smile..and wished her back not reciprocating her amusement at all.."Happy diwali Sumi.."

"Sari sari..seekiram yezhundhu ready aagu..kelamabanum.. its getting late."

Sumi hurried her..

But Not making any move from the bed..Raji asked..

"Yenga poganum Sumi..?"

"Adhellam pona piragu therinjiko..ippa seekiram kulichittu..ten mintues la keezha vaa..lakshmi yayum kootitu vandhudu.."Sumi said in single breath not giving any room for Raji to talk,...and flew away like a wind..

Raji was puzzled..

Kvrl along with Sumi all of them settled in a car ..It's a high end model of famous suv..

Karthik sat behind the wheels..vishnu took the passenger seat..and all the girls occupied the back seat..

Raji was just behind the driver seat..

"Sari ippa naama yenga porom..?"vishnu asked excitedly..

"Yenake theriyaadhu daa..madam solluvaanga naan drive pannuven.. yenakku driver velai mattum dhaan" Karthik said funnily..

All three pair of eyes targeted Sumi for the answer..Sumi ignored them all and said in a bossy tone..

"Driver kirthilal's ku po.. (she said some famous jewelry shop's name).."

"Yes madam.."Karthik's answer came in a funny polite tone..

"Anga yedhukku poganum..?"lakshmi asked...

"yenakku konjam jewels vaanganum..adhaan.."Sumi said..

"adhukku naangalaam yedhukku..?lakshmi asked in surprise..

"don't worry Lakshmi..Andha shop irukaradhu oru periya mall la..so u guys can have fun there.."Sumi said convincingly..

But Raji maintained silence throughout..not indulged in any of their talks..Immersed in her own thoughts..

Suddenly she noticed that Karthik was watching her through rear view mirror..when she tried to smile at him he averted his gaze with an angry glare..

After few times the same thing happened then only she had realized that he was mad on her..but why..?"she got confused.

He may be mad because she has not told those three words last night..but as of now she was not in a position to pacify him..as she had something very important to worry about rather than dealing with his childish fake anger..so she avoided his gaze thereafter...

He got even more angry seeing her reckless behavior despite of her knowing that he was mad on her..

"Madam attitude..u have to pay for this.."he grudged in mind..

As Sumi had mentioned the jewelry shop was located inside a very big shopping mall..lakshmi and Vishnu hanged out together for shopping..Where Karthik Raji and Sumi went to diamond section to select jewels for Sumi..

Karthik's phone buzzed suddenly he went aside to attend the call..

Sumi called Raji in a secret voice..

"Raji .."

"Yenna Sumi..?"

"Do you know why we have come here?"

Raji nodded negatively..

"Yenakku engagement ring select panna dhaan..Karthik ku doubt vara koodaadhu illaiyaa adhaan vera jewels paarkura maadhiri nadichen..? she giggled proudly as if patting herself for her smartness..

Raji felt like banging her head somewhere..she didn't like any of these engagement saga..she wanted to run away from there as soon as possible...it was becoming nearly impossible for her to sit patiently and listen to all blabbering of Sumi..

Raji's mind thought all these where as sumi continued her bug-bug in her usual pace..

"Raji..u know what...?Naan Karthik oda ring ah modhallaiye vaangi vachiten..but yenakku mattum vaangalai..yen theriyumaa?"she paused for a while as if increasing the anticipation of Raji..and also giving her space to ask why..

Raji gritted her teeth in anger.. with an impatient gasp.she asked "why..?"

"I want karthik to select the ring for me..at the same time he shouldn't know the reason as well...so I made this plan..sorry for dragging u in..yaar..i have involved u so that he wouldn't get any doubt.."

However Raji felt pity on Sumi for her ignorance of the facts..she couldn't help herself from the feeling of slapping her hard and scream

"U fool..Wake up from ur dream ...Karthik will never become ur's ..he is mine forever..."

She would have even shouted her mind out..if it was not for karthik who had made his untimely entry..

Karthik joined them at the exact moment before Raji would burst out..so that Raji's mind remained unsaid..

Raji looked at Karthik expecting him to sit beside her she even herself dragged the chair for him as she desperately needs his proximity for getting rid of the pain caused by sumi's words...she thought his closeness would sooth her mental torture..but he ignored her completely and sat near Sumi..Raji pouted her lips in disappointment..

Karthik glanced at her grumpy face and smirked..and thought in mind..

"This is for showing attitude to me.."

The sales man showed many designs but it seemed Sumi doesn't like any of it..

Karthik was getting annoyed and restless..

"Oh god ..Sumi..it's all girls thing..why have u locked me here like a prisoner all the day..seriously I have better jobs to do other than to escort u ladies to the jewelry shop.."

"Oh come on Karthik..can't u do this small help for ur best friend..if u r getting late then why don't u help me in selection ..so that the job will be done soon.."Sumi asked in honey coated voice..

"Ok fine..."Karthik called the sales person.. "Boss..show us some exclusive designs..don't bother about the price.."

"Ok sir.."he replied politely..and started showing some expensive rings..

"Karthik I have only 3 lakhs .."Sumi whispered in karthik's ear..

"No problem..yen kitta irukku naan pay panren..daddy unakku yenna venumo vaangi thara solli irukaaru..he gave me his card .."he whispered back..

It seemed they were talking personally and Raji felt out of place..she slowly slipped away from there..without making it very obvious..she roamed around the shop trying to distract her mind from the sight of Sumi and Karthik having secret talks sitting close to each other...

When she glanced through the jewels suddenly a ring caught her attention ...she went near that counter..the sales girl asked..

"Madam u want something..?"

Raji pointed out the ring inside the glass box..

"It's a new arrival mam...it's called valentine ring..exclusively designed for lover's who wanted propose ..their love ...u want to try this mam..?"

The sales girl took it out from the box and give it to Raji..

Raji touched the ring ..it was so smooth ..with a prominent white diamond stone shined on top..

She stared at the ring fondly..something was carved inside the ring..her eyes narrowed down at that wording..

It spelled "I love you"she whispered it out..

"Pardon miss"she heard a whisper close to her..

It was him..

"What pardon..?'she asked in a stern voice..trying to hid her shock of hearing his voice suddenly..

"I thought u were telling something to me.." he said with a smile..

"No I was reading the line written on ring.."

"Is that so..in that case can u tell me what is written over there?"He asked casually..

Without a second thought she started to blurter out..

"I lo.." but stopped in time and looked at his eyes glittered in mischief..

"actually I can't read it properly..why can't u try it on ur own.."She handed over the ring to him..and started to leave..but he caught her hand and brought her closer to him..

"ok fine let me try this..."

He deliberately grabbed her left hand and slipped in the ring into her finger..

It happened so suddenly so she couldn't protest..or react..

She looked at him in shock filled eyes...but he didn't seemed to mind her ..instead he was holding her hand to see how the ring looks on her..

He smiled and nodded his head satisfactorily...

When Raji's eyes fell on its price tag she was startled..it was almost 4 lakshs..

She hastily removed it ..and placed in its tray..

"Hey Raji what happened..why have u removed it all of a sudden..?"Karthik asked in confusion..

"Did u notice the price..?its almost 4 lakhs..oru ring poi avlo kaasu kuduthu yaaraavadhu vaanguvaangalaa?"Raji can't come out the shock yet..

"Idhellam oru matter aa... unakku pidichirukila..thats enough.who asked u to worry about the cost..?"

"Avlo panam laam yen kitta illai..."she said innocently..

"Yaen naan unakku vaangi thara maatenaa?"he asked with his gaze fixed on her..

Raji couldn't answer him immediately as she was moved by the gentility and sincerity of his voice..she gulped hard before answering to him in a casual voice..

"Nee vaanginaalum adhu veen selavu dhaan..namakku indha diamond laam set aagaadhu..vaa polaam.." she forcibly dragged him from there..

A pair of angry eyes staring them from the distance envied that sight of their closeness...

Sumi had seen Karthik and Raji were missing all of a sudden.. she roamed her eyes in search of them..when she spotted them at the distance.. the first sight she had seen was Karthik putting a ring on Raji's finger..

Even Though Sumi and Karthik were thick friends from the childhood he was not ready to slip in the ring on her finger...but why he did that for Raji..?it seemed he had no such hesitation while he was doing so..

"Is she more close to him than me?" The question started bugging her..

Though she doesn't want to suspect Raji and Karthik's relationship..she can't control the jealousy burning inside her seeing them moving closer to each other..

Yay welcome back akka no problem its completely understandable... season 2 has been driving me insane... except last weeks thursday and fridays episode of KR. this whole week i have stuck to the updates its highly irritating to watch.

Kala ma'am, first thanks for a super interesting episode. Is it Diwali, or is Sumi simply pulling R's leg? They went to Bangalore to celebrate K's birthday right? may be am missing something here.
