"Raji..don't be a spoil sport... idhu company arrange panra party..Transport provide pannuvaanga...u don't worry..nammah team mattum illai innum neraiya teams ah invite panni irukaanga...idhu oru grand event aa irukkum..nee varalainaa Vishvanadhan sir ah insult panra maadhiri..becasue he only throws the party..."

Raji was very reluctant to attend the party ..fearing from her previous experience...

"Yenna Lakshmi idhukku vera yedhuvum vazhi illaiyaa..?"

"Inga paaru yellaarum party attend pannanumnu koushik strict aa sollitaaru..nee varalainaa avaru kitta pesikko.."Lakshmi said firmly..Raji was trapped..

"Ok varen..but saree laam kattitu vara maaten..."

"Adhu dress code Raji..ladies laam saree..gents laam suit nu fix panni irukaanga...adhai naama follow panni dhaan aaganum..no other excuses.."

"Yen kitta saree illai.."Raji was giving lame excuse..

"Illai naa pudhusaa vaangu...ippadi yedhaavadhu sappaiyaa reason sollikittu nee saree la varaama irundha...naane unnai pichipuduven paarthuko..."

Lakshmi warned her before she had left..

Raji was feeling very anxious thinking about the party...

KV in canteen..

"Sema party daa...Mahabalipuram GRT resort la vaikaraanga...romba grand aa irukkum nu pesikaraanga..namma HR david chummaa kaasai vaari iraikaraanaam...machaan afternoon kelambarom...anga poi konjam relax pannurom..appuramaa evening 6 la irundhu party chummaa kalai kattum..ponnungalaam appadiye devadhai maadhiri saree la..naama laam prince charming maadhiri suit la.. cha..nenaichi paarthaale chummaa adhirudhulla.."Vishnu said with an excited voice...

"Dai... robma avikaadhadaa adangu...yenakku interest illai ..naan varalai..."Karthik didn't show any interest..

"Dai..ponnunga yeppavume pudavai kattinaa azhagu..adhuvum andha party atmosphere la moon light effect la candle laam patha vachi...sema romantic aa irukkum daa..unaku Raji ya pudavaila paarkanumnu aasai illai nu sollu paarpom.." Vishnu challenged him..

"Aamaa ippa adhu onnu dhaan kuraichal...naane sema gaandula iruken mariyaadhaiyaa odi poidu.."

"Dai chummaa nadikaadha daa...inga yenna solludhu..Raji... Raji nu solludhaa.." Vishnu pointed karthik's heart.

"Illai..adhellaam onnum sollalai...nisabhdhamaa irukku podhumaa.."

"Naanga nambitom..." Vishnu mocked at him...

"Ippa yenna da venum unakku .." Karthik asked ,finally had given up..

"Party ku kelambu.."

"Sari varen podhumaa uyir ah vaangaama poi tholai.."

KRVL in canteen...

"Venue ku poradhukku office ku varanumnu solraanga...inga vandhu inga irundhu kelambinaa late aagidum...adhu mattum illai..anga yeppa mudiyum nu theriyala..so machaan yennoda car la poidalaam daa...neeyum Rajiyum ready aairunga oru 2 o clock varen..." Vishnu said to Karthik...

"Yen kitta yen solra? Avanga kitta neeye sollidu..naan vandhaa avanga varaama kooda poiduvaanga..so naan yennoda bike la vandhudaren...neenga avangala car la koottitu ponga..." Karthik clearly showed his irritation..

"Yaarum over aa scene poda vendaam..Vishnu... naan unga car laiye varen...vera yaar vandhaalum yenakku onnum problem illai.." Raji replied in annoyed tone..

"Ippa yaru scene poduradhu..naanaa?neeyaa? Karthik asked in anger...

Both glared at each other...

"Sari Sari...sandai podaadheenga...naama naaalu perum Vishnu oda car la porom that is final..ok.."

Lakshmi tried to lighten the air...

KR nodded their head in agreement...

PARTY BEGINS...

Karthik and Vishnu had entered the party hall... with a full formal dinner suit...black suit with white shirt..both looking stunning in their attire...

Once they entered the hall and looked around.. they were awestruck by the beauty of the arrangements and decorations... The hall was arranged like an old ballroom style...

It was an vast wide hall..the ceiling was very high, decorated with hanging lights and curtains..windows were giving the nice scenic view of the roaring ocean and also allows the cool breeze...as the theme was black and white..most of the flowers used were white tulips and the vases were classy black...

Tables were arranged very neatly..like an arch...giving more space for the dance floor which is situated at the centre ..the whole place was illuminated with lights mostly of candles..which enriched the atmosphere...and complimented to the romantic mood of the hall...

DJ and bar were placed one side and the other side buffet also arranged very neatly...

The cool breeze and the nice fragrance have elevated the romantic mood of the ambience...

They could say this was the very perfect arrangement they ever seen in any party...

"Machaan chance ae illai daa..chummaa English movie la varra maadhiri setting panni irukaanga..."

Karthik nodded his head affirmatively..

They relaxed themselves in a table near bar..and Vishnu started to sip his drink where karthik settled with an orange juice..

"dai karthi,ulagathula irukka yellaa brand sarakkum inga irukkudaa..yedhaavadhu onnu try pannen..."

Karthik nodded for a no and raised his juice class as if saying he was comfortable with that only...

"Dai unnailaam yen friend nu solradhukke vekkamaa irukkudaa...thanni adikaadhavanlaam oru manusa naa daa.."

"Naan manushan illai.. deivam podhumaa..." Karthik joked at him and ran his eyes towards the entrance..and asked..

"Dai yengada yaaraiyum kaanom..."

"Un aalu varalainaa adhai mattum keludaa..yedhukku ivlo per irukkara hall la yaarume illaadha maadhiri oru feel ah kudukara..?"

"Naan onnum yaaraiyum kekalai..namma team la yellaarum kaanomaennu keten..." karthik tried to cover up..

"Varuvaangadaa...naan kooda Lakshmi saree la yeppadi irupaannu think panni panni paarkuren but imagine pannave mudiyaladaa.."

"Dai Vishnu..Think panradhukellaam moolai venum daa..unkitta illaadhadhukku try pannaa yeppadi kedaikkum..?" Vishnu glared at him..karthik laughed out loud and eventually turned towards the entrance...and he was stilled...

Lakshmi was calling Raji for the past 30 minutes but she heard the same reply of "oru nimisham...lakshmi.."

"Idhukku mela porukka mudiyaadhu..nee veliya varriyaa..illai naan ulla varavaa..?"Lakshmi asked losing all her patience..

At the same time...she heard the click sound of the door...there comes Raji with her beautiful elegant georgette black saree..which adorned by zardosi works of white stones...and silver threads..

Lakshmi opened her mouth in surprise.."Wow...Raji semaiyaa irukka..."

"Unnoda saree kooda azhagaa dhaan irukku Lakshmi..."Raji complimented her..Lakshmi was also wearing a black saree with large patterns ..

Lakshmi smiled for a second and then frowned at something..

"Hey.. idhu yenna... innum indha braid ah pottutu irukka..loose hair aa vidu Raji azhagaa irukkum..."

Saying this Lakshmi opened Raji's hair and let it float on her back..

"Perfect ..Come..let's go.." both left for the party area..

Karthik's eyes widened with astonishment..he never imagined she could be this much beautiful in saree..he felt as if he could stare her all day long but never get bored..

She walked elegantly towards their table and seated just opposite to him...

She could feel her cheeks getting heated up with his intense gaze on her..

She very well knew he was staring at her till the time she entered into the hall... actually her heart was flying with his openly drooling eyes on her..but acting very normally as if not affected by his glare was becoming very tough for her...

She too noticed him from the distance and stunned by his manly looks..the black sleeveless tuxedo and the white shirt complemented his physique..she could tell he was dressed to kill..his fragrance and even his very presence itself making her feel dizzy..

"Oh god... what happened to me..i am not supposed to be think like this...I can't fall for his traps anymore..i shouldn't let him affect me anymore..."

She was avoiding eye contact with him..as she couldn't trust herself any more...the ambience also added to her inner turbulence...After some casual talks and praising each other..

Vishnu and Lakshmi left them alone in the context of choosing some drinks...

"Vaa Lakshmi polaam.."

Mean time the announcement was made that the dance floor was opened for the dancers..

DJ had played some melodious songs which would be pleasing to ears..

Karthik was continuously drinking her beauty through his naked eyes...she felt too shy to face his passionate eyes...

Karthik was very desperate to look into her eyes...but she was nowhere to be turned his side...

At last he called her name to gain her attention..

"Raji.."

She slowly looked at him controlling her thudding heart...

Seeing her nervous state he smirked lightly...

"Adhaan ulla avlo irukkulla appuram yedhuku nadikanum.."he thought in his mind...

"Yenna..?"She tried very hard to ask in a stern voice...but it came as a mere whisper...

He laughed out loud...she frowned at him..it looked very cute..he felt like pulling her cheeks...but reading her nervous state he talked causally...

"Do u need anything to drink?" he asked like a gentleman..

"Orange juice..." she said casually...

"Ok wait I will get one for u..." he went to brought juice for her..

She called him out loud.. "Karthik...only orange juice..."

"Sure ..Sure..." he went ahead with a smile...

She sighed relaxed as he moved away..

But she watched him from distance with admiring eyes..

His tuxedo...suits him well..His strong masculine physique..the manly gestures..his naughty smile everything drives her crazy...

A sudden appearance of Angel near him had interrupted her drooling session...

Angel was wearing white saree and showed it to Karthik for his opinion...it seemed he also praised of her looks...the sight itself burnt her alive ...and starred at them with aversion..

"How could I possibly forgot this Angel.."

A sudden excited voice had broken her trance..

"Hey..Raji what a surprise..."

Goutham was standing there with a huge smile,...

"Hi Goutham.."Raji replied without showing much interest.. he casually dragged the chair and sat close to her..

"Naama ivlo seekiram ippadi oru party la meet pannuvomnu naan nenaikave illai...u know what..u look gorgeous ...I am afraid not I am the first one to tell this. am I right Raji?." He laughed with his big mouth as if he had just cracked the joke of the decade..

Raji felt so much irritated with his presence and even felt uncomfortable with his closeness and looks...

She moved a bit away ...and turned to the other side and had faced the fiery eyes of Karthik...

For a second she felt a shiver in her body..and then she stiffened seeing Angel standing close to him and talking with an animated expressions by waving her hands...

Her face turned out like a stone and her eyes spitting fire...

She turned towards Goutham and smiled very beautifully...

All of a sudden Goutham knelt down before her and asked her hand for a dance...it looked so dramatic and caught the attention of the others...

"Goutham what is this..yellaarum paarkuraanga pls get up.."She was very embarrassed..

But he was very stubborn to dance with her..

"No.. No.. Raji you must dance with me.. at least for few minutes..."

She felt like slapping hard on his face..but she couldn't do that ..Moreover it's a kind of party manners to dance with whom asked very formally and decently.. and it would not look nice if she denied out rightly..so she decided to go with him and came back as soon as possible..

Karthik was gripping the juice glass very hard in rage..he gritted his teeth in anger..his mind was clouded with jealousy...

"How could he let anyone touch his Raji..?"

Raji was about to put her hand on Goutham's extended hand...

She felt a tug on her hand and she didn't know what happened then ..she was in the iron grip of karthik...side hugging her by her waist...

She looked at him in utter shock...

Karthik looked at Goutham and said.. "Sorry buddy..she will dance with me..." he declared very authoritatively..

And led her to the dance floor literally dragging her without even giving a second look to the outrageous Goutham...

Raji tried to shove off his hands..

But his grip was so strong for her to get it off...

After reaching the dance floor he brought her face to face with a pull on her hand..

She didn't expected this sudden movement and she hits his hard chest with force..

Her eyes were spitting fire on him..

Unaffected by that look he was actually admiring her ethereal beauty so close to him...

She tried to move away but he kept her in a position by pulling her by waist..she gripped his shoulder for support..

"See Karthik..no way I am going to dance with u..so just get ur dirty hands off me.."

Her words spiting venom...

But he smirked at her..

"Yen andha Goutham kooda adalaam nu aasaiyaa irundhiyaa?:He asked mockingly...

"Karthik this is the limit..i don't want to create a scene here so just leave me..." she said with utmost hatred..

"Ok "..he loosened his grip on her waist and spun her away from him and brought her back with the same force..but this time her back was hitting his front and he wrapped his arms around her and embrace her by waist...

She was shocked to the core to see his atrocity..

Karthik himself didn't know why he was doing all these..but the sight of Goutham asking for her hands took away all his rationality ...

She dug her nails hard on his hands..but he didn't even flinch...instead he captured those hands and tucked her even closer to him..and bent down to her ears and whispered with his lips touching her earlobe..

"You are so beautiful in saree.."

She felt a shiver down her spine with his words and his touch..

He smiled internally seeing his effect on her...

But his condition also not the less...he was also feeling the same passion with the same fervor..

Her throat went dry and she gulped hard to bring words out of her mouth..

"Karthik this is the limit..if u not going to leave me then I am going to scream.."

"Ok .go ahead..but before that accept one thing .."

"What ..?"he turned her towards him and pressed his hand on his bare back..

Her breath caught in her throat..

"Accept the fact that u r affected by my touch...accept that I am irresistible ..."

She was shocked even more now.. "What happen to this karthik?

"Don't widen your eyes like a saucer ...Accept ur defeat my sweet heart.."

"Not even in ur dreams karthik..i am not affected by ur touch..Actually it was repulsing and disgusting.. " she said with utmost difficulty..

He smirked at her...

"I can prove u wrong my dear.."

"Sweet heart..dear..what sort of a language is this..?"she thought in mind in disbelief..

He bent down towards her...she turned to the other side in anger..

But he jerked her back to face him..a hair strand had fell on her face..and he slowly tucked the strand at the back of her ear with his finger tips touching her skin..

She got goose bumps with his delicate touch..his breath fanning her face...she closed her eyes in a trance...she mouthed a meek whisper of "leave me karthik.."

"I already have left u honey.."

She snapped open her eyes at once.. he was no longer holding her.. he had left her long back and watching her from distance with his hands folded and his eyes full of mischief ..her face was all flushed and she wished the earth should swallow her then and there...she was so much ashamed on herself..

"It was clearly proven that she was affected by his proximity and touch..why this shameless heart always running behind him though it knew he was cheating on her..?"

Her heart cried silently...

The night still continues...
