After all he did clarify to Nisha why he hid the marriage truth from his mom the day before and how it is not because he has any doubts about their marriage..He also apologised but before he could complete his mom came..and then inspite of being so clearly caught by Laxmi's talks he/they were still trying to lie and lie so he was just on defence mode..

Agree with u ...its not that easy...if we see from his POV he is right and he himself is confused . About the precap even if kabir doesn"t tell her about SV and CM someone else is going to tell the truth to vj so it will create more misunderstanding so its better Kabir himself reveals everything to vj
