CHAPTER 3
Kabir ran inside the room...what he saw made him feel like all frozen...Nisha was lying on the bed, faint...Kabir got so nervous...
Kabir: Maa, maa, what happened to Nisha?
Laxmi: Kabir, suddenly she fainted maybe because of high fever...and there is another reason, with that this much fever is the main mishap I guess...I have called the doctor...he is coming!
Kirti: Nishu is suffering like this, we would have never known, if Laxmi chachi wouldn't have taken off her blanket...
Kabir: *Getting anxious like hell* Whaaat?! What is wrong???? Maa,you said there is another reason and Kirti now saying this...What has happened maa?? Tell me, tell me please!
Laxmi lifted the blanket over Nisha's body...Kabir got numb...He was not even able to move after seeing the sight...How could Nisha do this to him?? This is why Nisha was hiding herself the whole time under the blanket? This much pain she wanted to took all by herself? Nisha's body was full with poxes...It was looking like she was covered by them...It was a painful sight to watch even...so just think how much pain the person herself was going through?? Kabir wanted to ask something...but all he could do was stammering...after a while finally he spoke...
Kabir: Maa, *teary eyes* Nisha?!!! How?! How all this happened? I can't understand anything...I also had pox...but it was not like this...
Laxmi had tears too in her eyes, as well as Kirti...Laxmi was about to answer Kabir...Just then the doctor replied from behind...
Doctor: This can happen, this can happen to anyone...It varries from person to person how much pox he/she will get...Don't worry, she will be fine...Let me check her...
Doctor checked her...and the other three of them were standing there restless to know what the doctor found...Kabir was literally not able to stand at one place...he was going here and there in the room..and looking at Nisha...at last the doc completed checking her...and said there was nothing serious to worry about...It was just that she had got too much poxes and so much high fever...so she got fainted due to the weakness...she would be fine...all the medicines prescribed before she should take and one vitamin tablet he added...luckily he had it with him...so Kabir need not to go out to buy it! ...After the doctor left...Kabir, Laxmi and Kirti were sitting beside her...
Kirti: Chachi? Should I inform everyone? No one is at home, na!
Laxmi: Arey, no Kirti! Don't inform them now...they are now at the wedding venue I guess...and it is bauji's very close business related person's daughter's function...So let them be...otherwise they will get anxious and will come back from Udaipur...when they will be back tomorrow, we will tell them...
Kabir: Maa, why Nisha is not getting her sense till now? *Worried*
Laxmi: Beta, she will, soon...
After a bit...Nisha opened her eyes slowy...and looked at them..
Kabir: What do you think of yourself?! Anything whatever you want, you will do? How can you do this to us Nisha? Why so much pain you took yourself? WHY?!!!
Nisha: Its just the fever, Kabir!
Kabir: And what about the scenario underneath the blanket Nisha? *Painful-angry tone*
Nisha kept quiet this time...she looked at Laxmi and Kirti helplessly...
Laxmi: What?! Kabir is absolutely right! You are too much Nishu!
Kirti: Yes Nishu..This is just too much!
Nisha: Okay, okay I am sorry everyone...Please forgive me?? *holding her ears*
Laxmi: So what say Kabir? Should we forgive her?
Kirti: Yes jeeju, say!
Kabir: We will fogive you just on one condition...
Nisha: What?
Kabir: You won't hide anything from now on...and will take care of yourself...otherwise I will never talk to you again! *Shattered face*
Nisha: *holding Kabir's hands for assuring* Surely Kabir! *Looking at Laxmi and Kirti* Maa, Kirti I will!
Kirti: Better!
Laxmi and Kirti stood up from the bed...and Laxmi told Kabir that she will be coming with the food...everyone would eat together...They had dinner together...after the dinner Kabir fed Nisha all her medicines...Nisha's fever was again getting high...Kabir gave her paracetamol tablet which would help to reduce the fever...and Laxmi came with a bowl filled with icy water and a napkin...she told Kabir to do sponge to Nisha's whole body,till her fever comes down..and said they will check on them in the morning, then left with Kirti! Now Nisha and Kabir were looking at each other with a bit uncomfortness and shyness in eyes...Kabir was not understanding how to say and what to say...and Nisha did not know how to look into Kabir's eyes! They were feeling nervous on the sponge thing...that how to start a conversation on it...finally Kabir broke the silence...
Kabir: Wifey, you don't worry! I am coming wait..I will blind fold myself...and will do the sponge to you!
He was about to go just then Nisha caught his hand!
Nisha: You don't need to, Kabir! You are my husband and you have full right!
Kabir looked at her like he was seeing an angel talking with him...Kabir locked the door..he slowly sat down on the bed...and holding the blanket over Nidha's body asked
Kabir: May I??
Nisha nodded her head in agreement! Kabir lifted the blanket...Nisha slowly looked away in shyness...Kabir whispered in her ears slowly 'Don't worry wifey, all will be fine'...Nisha smiled a bit looking away blushing..Kabir then started to take off Nisha's clothes...Nisha was holding the bedsheet tightly...she was feeling thousands of butterflies in her stomach..whereas Kabir's hands were also trembling! He was sponging her body with utmost love and care..He was handling Nisha like a newly born baby!...Nisha closed her eyes thinking how lucky she was to get a hubby like him...after when Nisha's fever got down...Kabir took his Nisha's head on his lap...
Kabir: Remember, I slept like this in your lap that night while having pox? Today it is your turn wifey!
Nisha: I love you Kabir, you are the best thing ever happened to me...
Kabir: Mine too Nisha! Now sleep! *smiled*...
Nisha smiled back and closed her eyes!
