About promo, missed to tell but I found it really vulgar. They need to execute it well, like there's a line in between seduction and vulgarity.

Plus star power is a very important factor. Ritu too started off as a lead actress but now she has been typecast into side characters. Whereas Gauri Pradhan despite being so senior & of course the same age as hers, even if she gets to play mother's character, she gets really powerful ones.
Another thing might be that a lot of lead actors experiment with negative characters and gets appreciated too. But you can hardly see negative actors to get the same response when they star in positive roles. People always have some apprehension about them.
And Mohana wasn't just any negative character she was The Ekayan; a good dancer too. So I guess Gul shoved her here. Seems like she is recycling from her old shows as Vishal Aditya Singh might be the ML here.
About vulgarity, totally agree. There's a huge difference between sensuality and vulgarity. The moves were very provocative. But then again, I felt it was in sync with the backdrop of promo.
I was rather observing her expression and there's literally no spark in SS's eyes. 🤔
I might start comparing but lucky for everyone, haven't watched D4. 😛
