Because they did not want to spare any character from being destroyed/damaged...except Panditji, GM, Dillu and Naman...

Panditji and GM's characters were always constant and DilMan's character arc improved with time.

Although, at one point a particular scene/shot did give me a slight sadistic pleasure... 😈

TBH, as a general audience I was feeling depressed. Like we were talking a few days ago that a lot of people didn't have an iota of idea about the originality of Nazar and keep praising Alif Laila. I had the same feeling. I really love the character of Aryan but while watching MATSH, I felt like Ranveer was a calmer version of him. To iss Aryan Bhakt ko thodi mirchi lag gayi.

But as a whole, the guy was really good if I could wash those 10-20 super creepy episodes from my memory where he took a 180 degree turn.

Right now it falls under the same category as Nazar. I hate the extra super dramatic Ekta plots, the separation and misery but if I consider the love story, they did have passion for each other. Although the girl became typical FL and didn't have any layer 🥱 I loved the boy that he noticed; like he did consider that the girl would take sudden turn whenever it concerned his safety and would give her the benefit of the doubt.

Not like Ansh that each time Piya would have to prove it. And honestly, this is one thing for which I can never forgive Ansh.
