I am really fed up of Sweety's constant need of validation and urge to prove that she is the best.

Why can't she understand that parenting is not something you could write down as a instruction manual. Everyone is different, kids and parents. We are not computers and everyone cannot be just programmed the same way. You have to try what works for you and your kid. Everyone's way will vary. One way being right doesn't mean the other is wrong. Many roads can lead to the same destination. So why does she need to take it on her ego and try to interrogate Mathur? She is always going on about how she knows what is best for her kid, why doesn't she understand that similarly those parents know what's the best for their kids. She might not agree with Mathur's, but many people don't agree with her style too. But, whenever someone tries to advise her, she replies rather rudely that they don't need to teach her, only parent's can decide what's in the interest of their kids. How about she follow what she preach?

And does she really have any confidence in her upbringing? Her kids are great, then why does seeing other good kids make her insecure? Why does doubt arise her in mind, does she not approve of herself? Why this constant need of approval from others/Pinky/God?

@FT

I have nothing to say. I am having the same questions from yesterday. I don't disagree with even a single point. I hope this track is about how there are different parenting styles and not about making Sweety's parenting style universal.

I agree with each and every sentence of yours FT bhai. Am getting fed up with Sweety's attitude and obsession. I expected to see some positive change in her, but no, she is still the same. And this time not even Rocky-Ginny compared Mathurs with their family. Why the need to investigate and find flaws? Wud she have liked it if someone did it with her?

^ Exactly, she is hurt when somebody compares her, but she won't stop comparing each and every thing. 😆
