Books are definitely more fun. Movies stayed true to it till the 3rd part. Missed parts in 4th and 5th. 6th movie was horrendous. 7th had both goods and bad. Books are a different level experience though.

Totally Agree. Books are more fun. I liked only the first 2 movies. From the third lots of main portions were left out. For eg: One of the main part inn 3rd book was Gryfindor winning Quiditch cup, that itself was omitted.

7th and 8th movie was a disappointment for me especially the last one. You know I have great imagination of how the confrontation will be between HP and Voldemort in the Great Hall in front of everywhere, but in the movie the confrontation was done somewhere outside without anyone. 3D was good though.

Don't even get me started on the last part. McGonnogall exclaiming like a little girl. Harry just jumping in front of Snape like a Hero. Their jumping to solutions of clues without outline any chain of thought. And that fight at the end? Clawing at each others face, a cat fight? And no final battle, killing Nagini only kills Voldemort? *hits head on wall*

3D was not so great, only the last disintegration seemed nice.

I can't even remember what happened. It was so bad. And the movie was so dark. I could not see anything properly. If it is difficult to adapt a book into movie, then dont do it. If they can make 2 parts, why not 3?
HP movie series became a big disappointment. The actors seemed very disinterested.

I remember only the last 3D part where ashes fly. Nothing else.

Someone should do it again, properly. If they feel up to the task of following the book.

But I guess no one will watch HP movies again. I think with the books coming years before the movie, people lose interest in the movie.
And too much graphics spoils it.

Possible, but they should at least try. Superhero movies work even today.

Too much graphics?

I dont like Superhero movies, may be a reason I am not liking Raavi track🤣

Initial movies were better, as graphics and magic were kept simple. But the last two movies, too much magic scenes that I felt even the characters were created/animated and nothing was real

Don't like Superhero movies? 😲 No Superman, Dark Knight, X-Men, Spiderman, Avengers? 😲

I find CGI a great tool in such movies, they real power of storytelling to immerse us in the magical moments. Not by sacrificing the story of course.

Nope. No Superheros. None of the characters you told. I dont find them fascinating somehow.

I dont know much technicalities, but for me, HP was ruined because of its graphics. There is a thin line and when it is crossed, what you used to like becomes irritating.
