hello everyone...im relatively new to this thread...well im really impressed with the way u guys r analysing and discussing each & every aspect of the episode...gr8 going guys

@clarissa di-congo once again to bekum bekaboo of the week di...and i totally agree with u about kerala weddings...uff im tired of telling the defects in its wedding pattern...specially christian weddings...no masti, nach gaana,...people r only interested in eating, eating and eatiing...eating the day b4 engagement, eating b4 wedding night and most importantly...eating biriyani in church wedding halls after marriage...there r even people who just come to have food rather than attending a wedding and blessing the newly wedded couple...by the time the brige and groom reaches the wedding hall there wont be even a fly to welcome them other than the close relatives😆pls di...tell me if im wrong somewhere...this is what i find in weddings in my place...staying in north and attending their weddings have made me realise how colourful and masti atmosphehre they have got...

@ritchelle-thanks for the info dear that sajda is slotted replacing maryada...i was worried it may affect navya...well any other info about afternoon slot or somthing...i dont believe sp in anyways coze they can do anything with navya...not even giving proper repeats

@nicky-i agree with u that sony shows r light hearted and fun to watch...sony has really learned the trick of choosing nice shows after a long time i guess...

Christian weddings may not have the naach-gaana and all the fancy ceremonies of the Hindu weddings, but they have a charm of their own. The beautiful dresses of the bride and her bridesmaid, the wonderful decorations, the subtlety and the classic ceremony..I think that Christian weddings are really beautiful. We may not have the pre-wedding dhamaakedaar events like sangeet and mehendi and all that, but we've got the stag-night, wedding shower, and stuff like that. The reception is another story altogether with the cake-cutting and the wine tasting and the dances and the wonderful speeches and stuff.

And yes, Sajda is most probably gonna replace Maryaada, so as of now Navya has no danger from it. Regarding afternoon slots, its not too clear as of now. Navya has the lowest TRPs for a prime time show, and SP has a bunch of shows lined up, some of them featuring popular actors like Mohit Sehgal (fame MJHT) and Karan Wahi (fame DMG and Remix), and I doubt such shows would get noon time slots. The current noon-shows may get axed in a couple of months, and then SP needs shows to fill their slot, so as of now nothing can be said. But if TRPs don't rise, there is a fat chance that the slots may be changed.

Siona iam from Cochin ABout christain wedding - Dude my real name is shamila and calrissa just for IF. I have not attnded a chirtistin wedding so far. So i dont know. I have atdned their reception,
Iam more used to muslim and hindu weddings. IN muslim weddings as you siad there is less clour in kerala when compared to north. In nroth even if it is muslim , hindu or chirtsina weddding ther would be all the dhamaka i think. BUt ii is speiciality of kerala i think as for us wedding measns another ususal ritual. But there are exceptions i think.

@ritchelle-yaar pls dont take me wrong...i never told about that christian weddings being boring...the white dress which the bride wears makes her look like a pari from heaven...but i've mostly attended weddings of distant relatives that too once or twice coze im always away from native place...being with the people who just come to weddings for formality sake i never got the chance to enjoy weddings the way it is...so thats why i made up my mind that its all about having heavy food that too non-veg...thats what i've seen...and dear what i have mentioned about weddings and happenings in marriage halls...its a reality which i saw with my eyes at every wedding i've attended till date...yeah the cake cutting and wines...all this still exists but theres noone to witness it at the end of the day coze by the time they come after all photo section and chaging dress into the saree given by groom, everyone had their food and gone...
btw u r from kerala?

@clarissa di-ok i see...well di wedding receptions r kept by well recognised and high status people living in cities...like u r in cochin so people in towns have always got a different outlook from others...wedding receptions r fun to attend but wedding ceremony as an outsider is what i ve experienced...if its ur close relative like ur own sister or brother then its fine coze u'll be actively participating in all ceremonies along with the bride or groom...thats fun

Bride changes into a sari in the middle of the reception? 😲 Then I guess you haven't seen an actual and authentic Christian wedding. I have been to authentic Christian weddings as well as Indian Christian weddings, and I haven't seen any sari type thing. In Indian Christian weddings, the bride stays in her wedding gown all day, and only appears in a sari on the next day, when she is officially introduced to all the relatives from her husband's side. And cake-cutting and wine and the speeches are done in the BEGINNING of the reception, after which is followed by the dinner and the dances. Food is always the best food available, and mostly its non-veg cause we Christians love our meat. I too am speaking from experience, cause I've seen authentic Christian weddings as well as Indian Christian weddings.

No I'm not from Kerela. I'm originally from Mumbai, but I've lived in Indonesia all my life. Will be moving to Singapore in a couple of months for my UG though.
