I'm not sure how good this will be, but I love reading romance novels and watching romantic movies and serials, and obviously Navya is my all time favourite serial! So I thought of sharing my version of their suhaagraat with you all. Forgive me if there's anything you guys don't like, after all, I'm only 17 and I'm no serial writer! Also, I'm not too sure about the ceremonies that take place, cause I'm not a hindu. Whatever I've written here, is from what I've seen in different serials and movies. Hope you guys enjoy it!

(Scene starts with Navya entering the house for the first time after her marriage. Anant's mom and Bua Dadi stand with the aarti in their hands and do aarti of Navya and Anant.)

Rama (after the aarti): *with her accent* debrani jee, aap is kalash ko kick karke andar aaiye. Yeh is ghar ki parampara hai.

(Navya kicks the kalash, Anant smiling at her; they all walk inside the house in procession where they sit in front of that huge statue. There Anant and Navya perform pooja for the first time as a married couple. Nimisha brings out a huge thaali full of milk petals and roses)

Nimisha: Ab aap sab baith jaaiye. Bhai, Bhabhi, aapko is thaali mein angoothi dhoondhni hai. Aap mein se jise sabse pehle angoothi milegi, woh doosre par poori zindagi hukum chalaayega! Ab shuru ki jiye!

(Anant and Navya put their hands inside and try to find the ring. Everybody is smiling except Baba, Om and Bua Dadi. Anant and Navya secretly smile at each other while trying to find the ring)

Rama: *with her accent* Debarji, phast phast angoothi dhoondhiye, nahi toh phull life aapko apni wife ki sunni hogi!

Nimisha: Bhabhi, jaldi dhoondhiye! Aapke hi bhai ko zindagi bhar mutthi mein rakhna hai!

Anant (whispers to Nimisha sitting next to him): Isne mujhe apne kaabu mein pehle hi kar diya hai Nimisha

(Anant looks at Navya while saying this, who hears him. She blushes and smiles. Anant realises that he found the ring, but he wants Navya to have it so he holds her hand under the milk and slips her the ring. When Navya realises, she is shocked and she tries to indicate that he should take it, but he shakes his head and smiles. Navya shows everyone the ring, and everybody cheers for her. Anant puts the ring on her)

Rama: *with her accent* Ee liyo! Ho gayi piroblem! Debarji, ab toh zindagi bhar aapko apni wife ki baat maanni hogi!

Anant: Mujhe usme koi problem nahi hai bhabhi (winks at Navya, who blushes)

(Everybody cheers, Nimisha and Rama take Navya up to Anant's room)

Nimisha: Bhabhi, ab aap yahaan bhai ka wait kijiye. Main abhi bhai bhejti hoon, shagun lene ke baad!

Rama: *with her accent* Thoda sarmana haan debarji ke saamne! Ab toh humari khoob jamegi debraniji! Kal milte hain! (gives an evil smile)

(Navya waiting inside the room, Anant about to go in but is stopped at the door by Nimisha. Anant smiles and tries to get past her, but she doesn't budge)

Anant: Nimisha, hat mere raaste se!

Nimisha: Kyun bhai? Bhabhi se milne ki badi betaabi ho rahi hai? Ab toh poori zindagi uske saath bitaani hai, toh itni betaabi kyun?

(Navya listening from inside and smiling and blushing)

Anant: Nimisha. Please. Mujhe jaane do naa!

Nimisha (laughs): Nahi bhai, aapko toh andar jaane ke liye mujhko rishwat deni hogi. Bhabhi se milne ke liye itne betaab ho, toh laao mere shagun ke paise?

Anant: Shagun ke paise? (shocked)

(Mohan, Sanjay and Anant's mom come from behind)

Sanjay: Bete Anant, ab toh agar kamre mein jaana hai toh paise to dene hi padenge, nahi toh poori raat yahi pe guzaarni padegi.

Anant (brandishing a 500 rupee note): Yeh le Nimisha.

Nimisha: Bhai, aaj kal 500 mein kuch nahi hota! Main toh is paise se apne liye ek suit lene waali thi. Kareeb 5000 ki thi. Lekin lagta hai ki ab na toh mujhe woh suit milega, aur na hi bhai aap andar jaa paaoge. Theek hai. Chaliye bhai, carom khelein?

(Everybody laughing. Anant is visibly irked. He takes out his wallet and empties it in Nimisha's hand)

Anant: Poore 10000. Ab toh mujhe andar jaane de meri maa!

Nimisha: Andar jaane ke liye aap itna tadap rahein hain? Chaliye, ab aapko aur bhabhi ko zyaada pareshaan nahi karoongi. Jaaiye!

(Anant enters the room, closes it behind him. Navya is sitting on the bed in the clichd nayi naveli dulhan pose, with her face covered with the ghoonghat and hands holding her knees)

Anant (nervous, walking slowly towards the bed): Nimisha andar aane hi nahi de rahi thi! Mujhe itna gussa aa raha tha, man kar raha tha ki use dhakka maarke andar aa jaaoon.

Navya: Kyun?

Anant: Tumse baat jo karni thi! Poora din hum sabke saath the. Akele mein tumhare saath do baatein karni thi, lekin mauka hi nahi mila.

Navya: Kya baat karni thi Anant?

(Anant goes to the bed, sits down, and is about to open the ghoonghat when Nimisha barges in, holding a glass of milk in her hand)

Nimisha: Sorry bhai, woh maa ne aapke liye badam waala doodh bheja hai. Disturb toh nahi kiya naa?

Anant (really angry): Thank you Nimisha. Tumne bilkul disturb nahi kiya. Ab tum jaaogi?

Nimisha: Really? Agar main disturb nahi kiya, toh yahi baith ke aap dono se baat karti hoon. Toh bhai-

(Anant takes her hand, drags her outside the room)

Anant: Ab tu mere kamre ke kareeb bhi mat aana! Samjhi!

(Anant slams the door and locks it. Navya giggles)

Nimisha (from outside): Aapko dekh loongi bhai! Kal main aapko nahi chodoongi!

Anant: Haan haan dekh le!

(Anant turns towards the bed and walks to Navya. She is still laughing under the ghoonghat)

Anant: Nimisha bhi naa!

Navya: Chodo naa Anant. (blushes)

Anant (who's frustrated): Nahi Navya! Main kabse tumse baat karne ki koshish kar raha hoon, koi na koi aa raha hai! Main kab se yeh kehne ki koshish kar raha hoon ki aaj tum bahut khoobsurat lag rahi thi, lekin jab bhi bolna chahta hoon, koi na koi aa jata hai!

(Anant realises what he said and blushes, Navya bends her head low and blushes)

Navya (shyly): Main aaj sach mein khoobsoorat lag rahi thi?

(Anant lifts up her ghoonghat, kisses her forehead)

Anant: Navya, tum is duniya ki sabse khoobsurat ladki ho. Aur tum aaj itni khoobsurat lag rahi ho, ki tumhein toh dekhke chaand bhi sharmaayega. Dulhan ke roop mein tum bahut, bahut, bahut khoobsurat lag rahi ho.

(Navya blushes)

Anant (stands up, walks towards the window and talks loudly): Aaj mere zindagi ka sabse accha din hai! Tum ab meri ho, aur humein koi kuch nahi keh sakta, kyunki tum meri biwi ho!

Navya (smiles, walks up to Anant who is near the window): Main toh hamesha se tumhari hi thi Anant.

(Anant turns towards Navya, sees how beautiful she looks. He stares at her for a long time, and then carefully holds her face in his hand. He then kisses her eyes)

Anant: Tumhari aankhon mein na jaane kya jaadu hai, ki main jab bhi inhe dekhta hoon, maano waqt tham sa jaata hai

(Navya blushes, bends her head down. Anant stares at her for a long time, and then lifts her face up with his index finger. He then moves to try and kiss her. Navya is too shy so she tries to go away. Anant holds her hand and pulls her back. Navya shyly lets him pull her back but she is still not looking at him)

Anant: Aaj kyun jaa rahi ho? Rits aur Appy tumhara intezaar nahi kar rahein hain, koi humein dekh bhi nahi raha hai, aur jo ho raha hai, woh bilkul sahi ho raha hai. I love you Navya. Main tumse bahut pyaar karta hoon!

(Anant then pulls her and hugs her. He then kisses her forehead, kisses her eyes, and kisses her cheek. He then moves to kiss her on the lips. The lights dim, and we see through their silhouettes that she doesn't run away and they're about to kiss. The camera shot shifts to the sky outside, where there is a full moon)
