When seeing Navya's mother act so annoying, then what can you expect from the Deepak himself? They want to give Navya a terrible husband like they gave Renuka. It's like they can't stand it that Navya has found true love because they want to have an arrange marriage for her with someone cheap and nasty like Gautum. Still can't beleive after seeing his son in law cheat on his daughter, deepak sends Renu back to that lying cheater. Wow, nice parvarish.
Anant's family (most of them) were mature and handled the situation good. Deepak was angry and let his fury rule him but what does he know? His daughter snuck in the boys room at night to give Anant a midnight chumaa. She hugged him and whatnot. He accused Anant of cajoling his daughter like some rogue loafer. What annoyed me is that Anant did the talking not Navya. She just stood there with a face. Instead of being all scared, she should have explained to her parents.
Deepak and Meeta are both annoying and could have acted like adults if they wanted to discuss the situation about Anant and Navya. There was no need to swear, accuse and argue which now will earn them disgust and hatred by Anant's family. Deepak and Meeta both proved to be children themselves, who couldn't even sit down and handle the situation well like proper adults. Heck, they could have even proposed a wedding between them two now that Navya and Anant have fallen in love. It was a chance to put those two togehter but no...Deepak has to be angry. He has no idea who Anant is.
Navya's occasional trips to Anant's house is Katamb. None of them will let her come in now unless she marries Anant but still, I dread to think that that half of Anant's family will bully Navya now. Especially that Rama (URGGHHH) who was enjoying the tamasha.
