From his interview..the one thing that has struck me is:
Navya is a younger version of Yeh Rishta

From this looks like we will be definitely heading towards a possible shaadi in the near future.
Don't u think so???😕

@All..The true mentality of people is that they are still not ready to accept two people having an affair. Most of the audience SP caters to is from smaller towns and villages .Having an affair in college is still out of bounds for so many. Thus, the low TRPs for this show.People were not ready to watch a young, fresh love story..and I suppose would not let their kids watch it as well for the fear of getting astray ..🤢
Modernity, modern values and changing times are some words that just look good when written or spoken about.Truth and practicality is still way behind🤢

PS..YRKKH has had an amazing run at the TRP chart.Must tell u it has a very wide audience base.

our TV show audiences hail from different background and idk why they have a problem watching a fresh love story between two innocent youngsters...they don't mind following shows where people are married and then commit all kind of sins...to name a few uttaran, balika vadhu(God knows how people tolerate these shows...) what rubbish tracks these shows offer and yet people enjoy and here they can't let a beautiful love story to grow with time...😔 does that mean with the change in track as per the article as Navya is in way of YRKKH will the gang not be a part of the show any more? If family drama will over power the show what will the gang do? Please don't spoil such a beautiful show and a novel concept...I would have appreciated had the show been aired on Star One had it not gone under revamp...at least the unique concept would have been unique there...all the big promises of "nayi dhadkan, naye sawaal", "rishta wahi soch nayi" would have been fulfilled then...

Geeta - what you've said makes sense, so that's why one of the fb posts mentioned the re-shoot of this shaadi sequence... We are deffo a minority - serves us right for pinning our hopes on a sweet, light breezy love story...

@Nidhi - all these SP shows seem to finally end up in the same saas-bahu twists and turns drama, sad indeed that there is no path-breaking show at all...

@Shilpa - you think things are moving towards elopement and then shaadi to "protect" family image etc.? OMG, what a massacre of a sweet story :-(

@Usha...The simple reason is audience it caters to.Every individual in India seems to have access to satellite TV..and shows like these seem to be their sole source of entertainment🤢.Just imagine a joint family sitting for dinner and watching this gutur gu...no way. They are bound to move to something which in their opinion is decent enough for the whole family to watch🤢...the reason why all serials end up with the saas bahu saga.🤢

Yes, I can;t think of any other reason. Can you after watching the precap? Why will the parents agree to marry them otherwise?

Elopment was the last thing on my mind and I don't want them to do it but seeing the precap that is the first thing that occured to me.

Massacre indeed!!! What were we expecting and what it has turned out to be. I still am hoping against hope that I am wrong and the CVs show something +ve.
