When should Navya have told her parents?

Navya's family is the perfect blend of the modern/orthodox outlook.Agree with Reshmi, that , she could have disclosed about her being in a relationship when the time was right , meaning , after graduating...But, then, would she have been able to carry the burden of guilt on her fragile shoulders , for so long???

I'm not sure navya should have fallen in love if she knew her parents were dead against it...I dont believe she couldnt help falling in love...there were multiple times she coud've stopped but chose not to...

But now that they both acknowledge their feelings and are committed, I still dont know what they should do next...If navya told meeta after she said ILU on her balcony, she would've freaked out (like she did on the phone with renuka about navya's possible "chakkar") , instead she's freaking out now...If navya spoke earlier ie after the picnic, then navya would've been scared and scolded out of her mind to ever dare look at anant's face again...Maybe if they both waited, Renu and Mohan's problems would've come out and that would be the perfect time to say "BTW, since arranged marriages arent so peachy, consider my choice" ?
