If love happens between them then the serials gonna be one WHAT THE HELL type. 😳 They should get to know each other and then love can happen. For now I'm enjoying the adorable-ness of the characters. 😆 & about Melodrama and all, thats sure to happen. Look at the families, drama hi drama. 😛

Great post Kanky 😃

Hey, Rinki! I have seen you nowhere around me in days now!

The dupatta flying is authentic, it is kind of a tradition so I always pardon it. WHAT THE HELL is the future of every drama, so you gotta pardon that too. This one's just started but to keep the charm intact in the long run is hell difficult, we know that. The families are irritating, they're the realest things the show has. And reality is irritating. Sigh.

Thank you for participating!

we know that love stories in reality hardly ever consist of the mushy mushy eye locks and dupatta fling and the "wind" effect. It's more like two people knowing each other, becoming friends, developing and gaining trust within each other for each other and then taking the next step. Being in "love" is not just about eye locks and wind effect. it's more about understanding each other and accepting each other along with accepting each others' beliefs, values, as well as family.

in this case, Anant and Navya both come from conservative families. It would be realistic to show them go through the process mentioned above--- knowing each other more, becoming friends, developing and gaining trust and then taking the next step. and during this process try to tackle their parents' beliefs with their own.
One thing that sticks out in this show, is that both the characters of Navya and Anant are shown to be similar--- both from conservative family, neither is an extroverted flirtatious or loud character.

LOL it's like if they were to be seated on a sea-saw, then it would be in equilibrium!😆

Whoa! Really, I have nothing in objection. I agree with your every word, pardon my cynicism although. They are quite similar, I realized it just today watching the episode. But that's refreshing to me, I dun mind. Opposites attract has been all round me, lately. And hey, the families have gotten backward from conservative now. They suck.

Poor Navya's sister looked so glum and regretful today.

Thanks for participating!

@Navya's sister--- yeah she definitely seemed regretful and well she sure would be! seems like she had to sacrifice her dreams and her career under her annoying dadi's pressure!
actually you know what, i don't think they portray the older generation correctly in this show. We have grandparents too...but they are so rigid and super backward like the ones shown in the show. Grandparents in reality usually pamper the grandchildren and support them in pursuing their dreams rather than suppressing them.

One issue, several dimensions - I hope you understand my punch out of this. She is a poor soul, Renuka am talking bout. And of course, I remember my grandfather was of the same league but he passed away when I was six -- my other grandparents who are alive also do not quite match the grandparents of this story but somehow, they are still the same conservative minds that refuse to look beyond the barriers they've lived against all their lives.

I totally get ya kanky and i agree with your pov too.
I guess both parties have to let go of some things and accept some things, right?
In navya and Anant's case, their parent's restrictions on avoiding the opposite sex and to not to befriend them is just not right as per the society now. I mean that could have been realistic had they been shown from a small town or a village. But they are living in Mumbai, one of the fast growing metro city, right? Then, how come the parents are so conservative?
Instead of putting so much restrictions, they could have advised them and made them understand that they can be friends with the opposite sex, like them but there are certain limits to how far they can go at their age. Instead of showing an overbearing grandma making decisions about Navya and the dad giving in to his overbearing mother, he could make both the mother and the daughter understand, couldn't he? and same goes for anant.

I agree with you. But expectations and Hindi TV serials run parallel, let's all accept that and get over it! 🤔

I second you on the city thing. It's actually nonsensical but the writers are putting in effort. They are taking up some very delicate and serious issues and I know they might not be able to do justice fully, but I am gonna give the show a try, anyhow. Whatcha think?

American telly - ah, I have watched a few and they are decent enough if you're searching for something to have your one hour passed. Hindi TV gets on my nerves sometimes, but I am very used to it. So I dun quit. 🤔

I guess the love track is just going to be too fast if it happens like now
I want them to go slowly not like at tortise pace but still slowly
The first step is their friendship, before lovers i want them befriended with eachother and become best and best friends of eachother who knows in and out of the other person, then gradually proceeding towards the love track i want SOME mushy moments not like a minute long eyelocks but some seconds eye locks wont do any harm right :P
From this picture i can comprehend that navya is starting to feel a bit for anant just in friends manner but her heart is melting towards him <3333
And i DONOT want any kind of melodrama b/w them and their families it all just gets on my nerves :| ya some emotional can do good but emotional attyachar is a NO NO :| <333
I just hope CVs dont ruin the image i have on my mind for this scene :/ <33
