I kind of have now learnt to ignore Divek ,their perf and their comments ... I guess SP is hell on a mission to pass them off and Judges ohh well there are on Dope I guess ...

Well, first of all this topic is related to overscoring of divek's performance. And since, divek and sanaya got the same scores today, comparisons are bound to arise.

Secondly, you know every partner of jhalak's contestant is a choreographer, but still all performances aren't praise worthy. If there's sanam then there's abi too, vivek dances with his choreographer and gets 27 for his improvement while abinam were still stuck at 26 the same week, because apparently one partner is choreographer, do you think that made any sense? (When you make a rule in a situation, shouldn't that be maintained if such situation prevails in future?)

And terence backed down on his own words which is why people are disappointed. He underscores one couple and overscore others (if your playing fair and really want to balance the competition, when one is underscored, overscoring others is not necessary and vice-versa). He said he judges the contestants according to their growth. In that case, monaya's scores this week should have been lower than last week's).Their act today was worth the watch, but certainly not up to the par. Last week's performance was wayyy better, so if the contestants are going to be judged with their own performances don't you think their last week's score should have been greater than this week's? (Had they scored 30 last week, this week's 29 would have made perfect sense to me).

Plus, I am not a monaya or divek hater, I am just expressing my opinion on the topic and scoring system. I am not bashing any contestants, I am just too much disappointed with the judges. And I brought abinam's reference just because terence gave a detailed info about the marking system in their and pritjot's 1st 30 performance. (Didn't mentioned pritjot earlier as i felt they did deserve what they scored according to terence's judging pranali)

I feel 28, 29 and 30 are the scores that shouldn't be given out to just any performances or else scores will lose its meaning. Moreover, an average act (with very less dance) getting so much points is like an insult to other much more praiseworthy acts by the same couple.(i said by the same couple because well, that's how they said the performances were being judged)

Regarding the ariel act, I respect your opinion. The act is yet to come, so I won't make any opinions just yet. But, yeah I am also an abinam fan so I am waiting for it desperately.

Topic is about overscoring and both are overscored very badly so comparisons will happen...and I don't see any one bashing your favourite couple here...They all including me stated their honest opinion, That's it...

I fully agree with this. In dance reality shows like NB, Jhalak, one can not expect either a classical dance or western dance. It is not a dance at all. All clumsy Gymnastics. Atlleast Gymnastic in true spirit will be elegant to watch.Here what the couple does is some abscene and vulgar movements without any grace in them.

@ bold ... though I'm a Sanaya fan, I agree with you on this one. Had their scores of last week and this week been reversed, I would have been okay with it ... if they had got 30 last week, this week's 29 would have been okay too. This week's act was difficult, I will give them that ... all those lifts when they were slathered with oil paint were dangerous ... Sanaya almost slipped in the 360 flip. Also the wall part with the cascading colors was visually very appealing ... but then so was the piano with LED lights and the whole jazz bar set up last week.

Not commenting about the rest because on this forum if one criticises anyone other than one's own favorites, one is called 'basher' and 'hater'.
