info about the elemination

Hii. I am not exactly upto date with the whole elemination thing. I mean I have watched all the regular episodes so far, but I didn't see any of the elemination episodes. So far, who is eleminated? I know that Ritu and Kiran were eleminated because they were missing from the chet-chaad episode. Also, what happened to shakti? Did he perform or not? Did the judges allow him to and did they give him a score? At the end of the chet-chaad episode, they showed Alex-Shweta and Vikas-Amita on the danger zone. Who was eleminated?

Also, how does the whole elemination thing work? They shoot the actual episode on wednesday right? And they shoot the elemination part on the same day too right? So, that means the voting counted is from the previous episode?

hey shakti didnt perform..he himself withdrew coz his wife is unwell..and since shakti withdrew, so there was no elimination..shweta alex, vikas amita were in danger zone but no one got eliminated as shakti was gone...u r right...votes of previous episode is counted for eliminations

Shakti decided to go out himself in the second episode. So he did perform but didn't ask for a score. After that they did the usual elimination thing but it was all drama. Since Shakti was out they had predecided not to eliminate anyone. They got the botom two then declared that both jodis would be safe this time. 😆

About the voting thing, I'm not very sure, but I think it works like this.... The couples perform on Wednesday, then the show is telecast on Friday. Audience voting is on Friday-Saturday, then the elimination (which is also shot around Wednesday) is shown on Saturday. The only way this works is if they are counting the previous weeks votes. So when you see a performance on Friday this week and vote for it, that saves your jodi next week, this week their fate is already decided by previous weeks votes. The thing I don't get is-- if you vote for a jodi which has already been eliminated, that means you are basically wasting your money. 😕 Of course the channel is making more money this way, because those people who don't have access to spoilers may send in lots of votes for an eliminated jodi, but its not fair on the viewers. They should have eliminations first, then the performances (like SRGMP), or shoot the eliminations on the day it is telecast (like II).
