< name=frm ="return chksubmit()" =site_search/sitesearch1.asp method=post> </> Nach Baliye 2 promises to be bigger and better than last year. With the premier of the show slated for Monday night, we're wondering how prepared the couples actually are. No, we're not talking to the celebrity couples here; we're talking to the choreographers who've been training them! Read on and find out what they had to say…. Arvind Thakur on Gauri and Hiten Tejwani We've been rehearsing since a month now. Both have never danced in their life so you can imagine! It was tough, but they were always co-operative and patient. We started to work on their rhythm and then moved on to their looks, expressions and chemistry. But I think they've improved a lot in these past few weeks! Deepak Singh on Yash and Gauri Tonk Oh, they're a cool couple! You give them any step and they'll give it a shot. They weren't serious in the beginning, but now they conscientiously come for practice. Yash can learn steps quickly if he knows the song's lyrics, so I make him hear it repeatedly! Gauri isn't a professional dancer but if you show her the steps she can pick it up in some time. Her hand movements need attention though. Sumeet on Gaurav Chopraa and Narayani Shastri They're both good dancers and pick up their steps fast. Both agree to the steps they're given. In fact, they are capable of learning an entire song within 2-3 hours! They've been dedicated students, coming for rehearsals from 7 p.m. to 4 a.m.! Yogesh Patkar on Manav Gohil and Shweta Kawaatra Manav is a good dancer as he's done numerous shows. At times, he even suggests steps. Shweta has never danced in her life! In the beginning, it was difficult to train her because she has a crack in her backbone but now she really gives it her best shot. She's slow, but the two are willing to go all the way to clinch the title! Sagar Mhadolkar on Shweta Tiwari and Raja Shweta is mind blowing as a dancer. She has no problem with her co-ordination, expressions or rhythm. Raja had lots of problems in the beginning. Both practice for almost nine hours daily. Shweta recently had a hairline fracture while shooting but still continued. Their dedication is phenomenal. Raja is working really hard to make Shweta happy! Megha on Ketki and Rasik Dave They're a hardworking couple and practice for almost six hours daily! Rasik isn't a dancer; it took me quite some time to teach him to be rhythmic! They have an indomitable spirit and amazing chemistry. I think their expressions will also work in their favour. Both have given in their best efforts. Pinky on Arjun Punjj and Gurdeep KOhli They changed their choreographers, so they were late by 15 days. We had to undo whatever they'd learnt and start all over! It was quite a tedious task teaching them new steps in that little time, but they managed well and never gave up! Harshall on Hussain and Tina Kuwajerwala I don't really have any complaints from them, they're right on track! They were nervous during rehearsals but have improved greatly since the time they came to me. They pick up steps fast. Actually, it depends on the song. Both are poor in their expressions but they're working on it. It's their chemistry that's their plus point! Kiran Giri on Sharad Kelkar and Keerti Gaekwad They pick up steps fast and if they find a step difficult they would ask me to change it. Their enthusiasm and interest levels are increasing as the competition draws nearer! They've good chemistry and are totally in sync with each other. My only grouse is that they come late for rehearsals! Mini on Bhaktyaar Irani and Tanaaz Lal They're both good dancers, great learners and adept to any style of dancing. They like having fun when they practice and are extremely agile. Their confidence levels are also rather high, which is great! |
