Yes we were told that AvNeil will not be parents coz the original leap was actually 5 years! Even the promos were shot and even actors confirmed the same. That is why Kabir said he is not Pillu?

But then channel intervened that the leap was made 10 years. The focus was going to come on Teen Mishti and also the possibility that one of the children may be Pillu was always there. Coz if the leap was 5 years, then AvNeil's kid would be 4, so NONE of those kids can be that child. Which is why they said there is no child. But the 10 year leap meant ALL that changed.

Like you mentioned, we saw that Mowgli is the one that first met Neil. He stopped Neil from jumping off that dam. Neil saved him from the fan, then also played with him at the house. The bonding between them was shown from the start! So this "Angle" was always there, and they intended to use it IF and when they thought it necessary. They focused more on Mowgli and Neil than Neil with any of the other kids. We also see sometimes Avni displaying extra anxiety for him (In the earlier episodes), but later the "Saisha Jaap" meant that was ignored a bit more.

But Mowgli was the worst effected when Neil left. He was crying the most. Yes he is the youngest, but we also see he has a connection with his Superman. The chemistry of Zain & Kabir is excellent and just the kind of combo we need for a Father-Son dynamic. This will be a reason to continue that bond with Avni which cannot be broken. Now they have a child, no matter what Neil says or does, they are eternally connected. Even if he pretends he moved on, he cant move on from his kid. So there are many plus points in this track. A lot of potential and also potential for TRP. (which lets face it we need right now to save the show). We badly need to save this show, so the team can get the awards they deserve and celebrate 500 episodes + which is what they all want. Which is what we all want as well.

Also, Dragon look at it this way...Tillu is a big success! He is not Nakabil! 😉 Iss ne Teer nishane pe maar hi diya! That hot night of passion produced the result that it should! 😳You go Tillu!
