Today v r completing 1yr of avneil/adiza journey in naamkarann.It hav been a wonderful journey wit lots of happiness,sadness &romance.I hav been thinking frm morning wat 2 write 2dayfor #1yearof avneil.Didn't get any words coz words r nt enough to describe their journey.So thought of sharing wit u guyz y I started 2 watch this show.It's because of AVNI.Na nt Avni Ayesha but meri bachi AVNI.Yes shez my sisters daughter.She was born on 2013.My sister's husband abandoned her when she was 2months pregnant.So wen my baby doll was born she didn't have her father beside her.That man didn't even try once to see the face of his daughter nt even until this date.I don't knw whether its a coincidence or not her name is also AVNI & like our Avni she too doesn't hav the surname of her father.It was me who gave her the name AVNI n her full name is AVNI KRISHNA.I didn't want my girl to have the surname of tat person who doesn't even have a tiny bit of love towards his daughter.Even though she is a 'jayaz' child but some ppl from this stupid society treats her like 'najayaz' just because her father is not with her n also nt having his surname.But m proud instead of having a coward father shez having two mothers.My sister n myself.She too calls me MAA..

Naamkarann is not just a serial 4 me its an inspiration n esp Neelamaas charc coz right nw m Neela maa 4 my Avni.Tat character has given me strength and an insight how I should take care of my Avni.Like Neela maa I'll also make my Avni a 'fighter'.To fight with this world & to show them tat u don't need the surname of your father to live in this world.Wenever I read NK is close to reality l'll tell itz nt even an exaggeration coz IT IS!!!!

And ADIZA I really don't know hw to tell how much respect n luv I hav towards u ppl for making AVNEIL look so real & close to our hearts.To the whole NK team take a bow guyz coz u ppl rr doing magic onscreen n words r not enough to appreciate u g uyz!!Once more a happy 1 year avneil anniversary guy!!

Starplus u don't even hav a least knowledge abt how precious show u hav in ur channel coz if u had u wouldn't have treated it like this.I knw 4 u ppl it's business I don't even blame u 4 tat coz tatz hw it works. But please try to acknowledge and appreciate the value of this show n those ppl who work hard for it..

Last but not the least I would like to thank Mahesh Bhatt Sir for giving us such a wonderful show...

NK TEAM U GUYZ HAVE WON OUR HEARTS!!!!Take a standing ovation from me...

I am so glad I logged in tonight and saw your post! Thank you so much for this amazing post!

I know Naamakarann is a great show and we all love it so much, and most of us fell in love with all the characters of this show, not just AvNeil. But reading your post reminds me of the great social message in this story. That a child, a girl, does not need her Father's name to be someone in this world! Most of us are fortunate enough to have the support of both our parents. But some are not. For those who are not, this show is a great inspiration. Avni is an inspiration and so is Neela Ma. Neil is an inspiration, and so is Ali. They ALL stand for something greater and something better that everyone can strive for. Be it Fighter goals, Mother goals, friendship goals, life partner goals etc. The show and the characters, and the story are special and unique.

Star Plus please know, Naamkarann is not just "A show", and neither is it just "another love story!". This show is a microcosm of life. An inspiration to many. A life lesson to all.

Zain and Aditi, I cant say in words how much I love and appreciate you guys! You have made AvNeil so real to us all that we connect with them as if we know them personally. We feel all their emotions and it's thanks to you guys! Personally, you have given me many smiles, tears too, and after a very long time a show to look forward to. It's not "mindless entertainment" at all, but something you wish to invest in. I dabble in writing and didn't write for months till I saw the prison track and it inspired me again. So thanks, AdiZa and also the makers of the show. You have something very special here. Mr. Bhatt, thanks for bringing this story to a platform like TV. It goes a much longer way than a 3-hour movie would.

Star Plus, THIS is Nayi Soch. If you knew how much people around the world loved and appreciated this show, then you would treat it better! You better not even think of letting this show go off air before it wins ALL the awards at SPA this year. They truly deserve it. Mr. Hegde, been a fan since IPK1 and I can see your style of writing in this story. Love it. Please keep it up. The whole cast and crew, you all deserve a standing ovation on the first anniversary of AvNeil coz you have all done an outstanding job!

@TM: You are a real life Neela Ma and an inspiration to anyone who reads this post. People like you are the real stars in this world. To be a good Mom to your own child is a challenge, but you are being a Mom to your niece. SO much respect for you and what you are doing for your niece. All the luck to you and your sister and niece. All the best to you.

Thank you all of u for ur kind words. Me n my sister together vl make her a fighter...my parents are also with us.My sis husband also left her 4 his mother. He didn't had tat spine to fight 4 his wife. This is where I adore Neil Khanna!!!! I really need my Avni to have a Neil Khanna in her life. This is just one Avni there are a lot more avni's out there in this world. 4 them Naamkarann should b n will b an inspiration . I remember babes words here no child is najayaz humare society ka soch najayaz hai.!!!! U ppl know y I gave her the surname KRISHNA coz it's God's name n she is the child of God...n he will b always der to protect my child.

Naamkarann is just not an ordinary serial it's a real life story of all those avnis in this society who wants to have a HAPPY FAMILY with their parents...

Even though I have the support of both of my parents I still think that a girl do not need anyone's name to become a nice person. This story has reached everyone's hearts and we could connect with it.

It warms my heart to read this post. In every society, western included, children without fathear are perceived to be lacking, more specifically girls! Reason being that we were brought up with stereotype images on what families should look like. I loved this show from the very beginning because it touches on a very important topic of children being brought up by single women.

I too was a single parent after my divorce but I was determined to provide a good home and more importantly be a strong role model for my children. I had very little family support because I was the first in my family to get a divorce! I was told that I would never be able to "make a good life for my children without their father!"Today I am approaching 60 years and my children have grown up to be strong, successful and independant! Now I am held up as a role model to the women in my family and my ex in laws because I did this as a "single mother" have a happy family and the fact that I also had a wonder career was also icing on the cake.

Point is, as a women, you do not need the typical family to have a happy family. You can do this on your own and if you have a good friend, sister or mentor then that's a bonus! You and your sister will make a good and happy life for "your Avni" because love is the greatest security we can provide any child! Surround her with strong female role models and positive people and watch her bloom!

I never had any issues with this show because it was never about AvNeil alone for me. It was always about the difficulties one faces in an intolerant society and where time and again women are often a woman's worse enemy! It was a bonus having Aditi and Zain enter the show! They sizzle! I love the fact that I saw two fairly new actors (to me as a Canadian) grow into their roles and own it! I just wish the story was allowed to develop fully without the pressures of TRPs!

More than any other Indian TV shows that I have seen to date, NAAMKARAN IS THE BEST and my most favourite character remains, Neela Ma! You cannot go wrong in bringing up "your Avni" if you take a page out of Neela Ma's book!
